Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

https://i.imgur.com/lzcC47o.jpeg Cool pic! How are you liking your 4V Goddard? I am really enjoying mine! Great steel, superslim carry, long, thin blade but with not TOO fine tip, one very locked in grip position and another grip option that gives me tons of control when choking up in front of that...

Re: Any Double Bladed Desires?

Started a thread on the following once, but can´t find it no more: - Another idea for a double bladed folder would be to give it one really thin, slicey ffg blade perhaps made out of a hard, great-edge-retention steel and one sabre grind robust blade, perhaps made out of a softer, but tough steel. B...

Re: Are there any Shaman Sprints or Dealer's Exclusives planned?

Hey Austrian compatriot ;), Don´t know anything about new Shaman sprints, but Palo Art actually contacted Lamnia sometime last year if they´d do a (and the first) European dealer exclusive, see this https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?t=95535 thread.... Perhaps you could advocate for a Shaman t...

Re: Crazy good deals - Europe edition

knifestock just frequently has deals worth to get mentioned here... 1.) Siren for € 166.93 (that´s actually a great deal, but site says only 2 pieces left, so be quick if interested - especially since the model go discontinued) https://www.knifestock.at/spyderco-siren-g-10-black-c247gp-p78016 2.) Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

It's that time of the year where I either like to enjoy late spring/glacier skitouring in our high mountains, or stay in the lower regions in the first place where there is no snow anymore and already shorts-tanktop-and-trailrunningshoe-time... :smlling-eyes This is another one of those "Almen&...

I am one of those who actually really like bunt orange.
Even more so when the REX 45 blades it comes with show some patina or the HAP40 blades patina and scratches on the soft SUS410 cladding steel..

Re: Any Double Bladed Desires?

I'd actually like to see a Dyad featuring a comboedge blade and, yes, a saw (most will know that Soyderco had a folding "Spyder"saw in their lineup back in the days).

Even started a poll on this once

Re: The Magnacut Paramilitary 2

I love PM2's, and I'm sure I'd also love your great new black one. I don't love the pocket clip misses. My jeans get shredded enough already. My jeans get shredded, too, at a rate just a wee bit faster than I wear out the butt riding my bike and sliding around on pavement. I'll report back here if ...

Not mine, it must be one of my most carried Spydercos and also one of my favorite food prep knives. https://i.imgur.com/I2d26Ci.jpg For a still general utility folder and for its compact closed size the Kapara works absolutely great in food prep indeed! (Aside from tasks where a taller blade would ...

Re: An ongoing mystery: Why still no ffg Manix 2 SE? (NOT meant as a complaint)

I have no interest in a serrated Manix 2 in any steel, but I still don't understand why there aren't any in the lineup. It seems obvious there should be at least one. Maybe they haven't wanted to introduce a new blade until the screwed CQI came out, or until the Salt release. My guess is it's just ...

Re: An ongoing mystery: Why still no ffg Manix 2 SE? (NOT meant as a complaint)

That has not been my experience. I've found that serrations cut some tough materials better than a plain edge. When the job is complete, the serrated edge is still suitable for continued use, while the plain edge can be disappointingly degraded. For this reason, if I think I'm going to encounter so...
