Re: Spyderco knife rotation? How many?

I rotate between my Chap, Domino, and 2 PM2s mostly. I will periodically throw the Native 5 into the mix, but this hasn't happened almost at all since I got the Chap.

Re: "The one"

The chaparral I got 2 months ago has certainly done that for me. It has kicked all of my other knives back into my knife case. On the rare occasions that I have carried a larger knife, the chap has still tagged along in my coin pocket. Such a crazy good slicer that fits my hand soooo much better tha...

Re: ‘First’ Spyderco

The problem I find with sprint runs it that since I can't replace them, I tend to not want to actually use them, but that's just my hang up. This is the exact same reason I always recommend friends to pick up either the S30/110V production PM2s to use and abuse before they decide to jump to a sprin...

Used the Domino to open up my Blade HQ package this morning to free a lovely Chap Raffir Noble from its bondage. :D

Re: Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Lets hear from the owners.

Not sure what you're looking for but... Buy one. First knife I loved enough to own multiples of. Great blade if you like the length. Some folks find themselves prefering either 4" or 3" and not the in-between. All of the steels it is available in, between regular production and sprint stee...

Re: Is Spyderco about to release a new Chaparral?

FRN color options are always there. We'll see what the market (you) request? sal I say keep up with the cool handle materials, but if you're taking requests for frn colors, may I throw in OD green or foliage green with or without a dlc blade? A blood orange or honeydew would be nice colors as well....

Re: Finally bought a Yojimbo!

I'm the same way with the Yo2. I've wanted it forever, but it always seems to get bumped down. An S110V version would change that. ;) Same. I keep bumping the Yo2 down on the "next knife" list, but I think it is definitely the most likely next purchase at this point. Just too good to keep...

Re: We need an Ark wharnie

I would actually own an ARK if it came as a Wharnie... As is, I just can't get into it. I'd love to see an updated blade like this, or even a simple leaf would be ok by me for a minimalist option.

Re: Please help me pick my next two knives!

My vote is Bentobox M390 Para3 and the Chapparral Raffir Noble. Excellent little combo. All the looks and all the performance. (These are both in my planned purchases.)

Re: Successful conversion to Spyderco

Glad she likes it! It's nice when gifts are appreciated, and when significant others can share in your hobbies/interests. The Dragonfly is a great Spyderco 'gateway drug'. I've given away a few. Was the first Dragonfly I'd ever handled. Surprisingly splendid little knife. Might need a second to joi...

Successful conversion to Spyderco

So around 2 weeks ago I ordered a DF2 in black FRN in the hopes that my wife would enjoy using it. This DF2 is her first Spyderco and first knife gift from me (shocking since the first gun preceded the marriage  ). Fast forward to today, and I have yet to see her without her DF2. She loves it a...

Id like to see a collaboration between Spyderco and steelcity16 to come up with a few sprints in 3V, 4V, and Cruwear. ;)
There's something fishy about this collaboration...

Re: Help Identifying this - Real or Fake?

I remember when I was first getting into Spyderco and saw my first Centofante... I too was curious if it was a knock-off goof. Nope! It's a rather neat Spydie.
