Re: Recommendations for a European traditionalist
welcome! i will always suggest the manix for lefties. it's a great, modern design with the ability to mod and make it yours. it happens to be my favorite pocket knife design, but i'd recommend it even if it wasn't because i think it fits your criteria well. check out this thread... https://forum.spy...

Re: AI art knows Spyderco
I recently read an article in the WSJ that interviewed CEOs and asked them what they used AI for. Over and over the answer was: "Customer Service." Or as Clark Howard calls it, "Customer Non-service." Now non-service can be offloaded to computers! Woo! Now that's progress. yes. ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
my ideal version is a manix in the same configuration as the pm2 and a stretch 2 xl in the same configuration as the salt 2.

how about a triad lock leafjumper with an acid-washed k390 blade, full steel liners, engraved brass backspacer, and contoured rock-pattern burgundy canvas micarta scales?

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2024 Report
i'm confused why people are worried about this knife breaking. it's a small blade and it's only 1mm thick. this knife clearly isn't made for applying any kind of lateral force. it's made for slicing and opening your mail, not for building a cabin in the woods.

Re: new coating coming!
I’m always stoked about coated blades and I’m excited for the new ones. I’ve always been a little bummed that there aren’t more coated options in the salt line. Hopefully we’ll see some more! the new pm2 salt that was just released with a coating gives me a lot of hope. i really want a stretch 2 xl...

Re: Spyderco spotted on Survivor!
what a silly thing to be arguing about. it's cool that a spyderco, and such a great model at that, was featured on a show that so many watch. hopefully, more will take notice and purchase the same model and spyderco will also be more inclined to make more blacked out salts for those of us that like ...

Re: Cold Steel Talk
got the rajah iii in today. first impression is that it's very similar in size to the manix, but with a chunkier handle and an even deeper negative angle on the blade. more to follow, to include comparison pics, later.
