Hi Moose,

No thought on drop point at this time.

sal
Thanks for the reply Sal. Will the CB be the same colour as on the Brown FRN Delica and Endura?

Happy New Year by the way...

Re: Coyote Urban update?

Great news. Was there a decision made about the possibility of a drop point version? Any pics of the CB prototype?

Re: Drop Point vs. Leaf Shape (UKPK)

What's your opinion on the improvement of the leaf other than being slightly more pointy? The Drop point has slightly more belly..

Re: Drop Point vs. Leaf Shape (UKPK)

I agree with Ngati Pom. The drop point seems more 'penknife' than and the leaf more 'tactical'. Living in the UK, the friendlier shape of the drop point appeals more. I also prefer the lower pocket profile of the drop point. I think both are great patterns and would love to see an Urban in drop point.

What a fun idea.

How's about a Shute Spyder; frame (or liner) lock in 4mm thick hollow ground s35vn and dark earth G10 ?

You may be on to something there. How's about a drop point in very dark brown and a wharnie in very dark grey?

Re: Coyote Urban/UKPK

SSSsssoooo. We've got Coyote tan (no color listing for Coyote brown) and we've got earth brown (like the new exclusive Para3). ????? sal Seems I was late to the party again.... The Earth brown on the Para 3 is exactly the colour I'd envisioned for the Urban...... But Sal you are a legend; so if its...

Is RIT dye permanent? Nice colour by the way.

Oh I'm really looking forward to seeing pictures of the coyote ULW.

I don’t know. I heard it can scratch off. Time will tell.
Thanks.

Re: Future plans for the UKPK?

Full length back spine with non-tuning fork style spring to continue the Squeak & Urban theme. Return of G10 would be nice. Not too bothered about exotic steels as long as the price doesn't go mad. A whole new shape UKPK like a slippy Native would be great. Whatever you end up doing just keep it up...

Re: Coyote Urban/UKPK

The drop point gets my vote Sal. Quite frankly a drop point Urban in coyote/dark earth would be a dream come true for me. The drop point is my favourite slipit shape: great belly, slimmer profile when folded, really non threatening shape but still keeping a useful (and imho, essential) point for pok...

Coyote Urban in itself sounds fantastic, but with a cool steel, even better. This is the knife I'm now waiting for.

Do you mind! Stop reading my thoughts :D

Re: Coyote Urban/UKPK

I know nothing about this steel. A quick google suggests it can achieve a extremely fine edge but at the cost of toughness and durability. Makes for a knife that gets sharper but wears quicker than other stainless steels shall we say... Have I got this right? I'm not sure where you got the low toug...
