Good to know your viewpoints on celebrities. Yes, they are normal people and i would love to meet. Looking for a chance.
Some are normal, some, not so.

Re: Let's talk titanium.

I never heard of it but there was little if any rubber for such a shark to attack (maybe gaskets for the periscopes). I did record the "Boing Fish" for hours on end and even today no one knows what it is. One day while I was on the main sonar I started to hear a voice. I steered over to focus on the...

Re: Let's talk titanium.

I don't think I mentioned anything in regard to hull thickness, but I do know that the Soviet Union had by far the largest deposits of titanium in the world and that was an issue that people above my pay grade seemed very concerned about. I was a sonarman which meant knowing everything about Soviet ...

As you can see, I gave it a jolly good go. This is what happens when you forget your Spyderco. :(

Re: Let's talk titanium.

I agree as there are titanium products out there that are worse as a result.

Re: Hard truths and observations

We have pecans all over the place and there is no way you can cut the shell off with a knife. Maybe you have some kind of newfangled pecans.

Shoot man, my wife has refused every knife, pepper spray, taser, machete, gun and even whistle that I've tried to give her.

Re: Para 3 vs paramilitary 2

Get some of these. They are made for the kitchen. Very nice Crux are you a Professional Chef? I did a few years on the pro BBQ circuit (hoping to get the crew back for this year), but I have been seriously cooking for a long time. I had a similar set a step down from these in the kitchen and my won...

Re: Let's talk titanium.

Thinking about that, I totally blew my first big job interview after I got out. The interviewer asked what was the one thing I disliked the most about subs and I told her scrubbing the deck. I immediately saw on her face I was toast. :(

Re: Let's talk titanium.

I will confirm that there are no windows. :) Believe it or not that was the most asked question I used to get. Another thing I can disclose is that the inside of a submarine is cleaner than most hospitals as field days were a sadistic and painful operation. The "goats" would go out of their way to f...

Re: Let's talk titanium.

It's a great steel for submarines. Indeed. I learned that in the early 1980s +/- forward, the Soviets made particular Titanium submarine hulls which allowed maximum depth operations in the neighborhood of 3k feet. They were known to be very noisy and inefficient -- no idea what became of this fleet...

Re: Advice? Para 3 - Arrested in NYC

I have hesitated to comment on this thread because I cannot imagine a Para 3 involved in any issue with the law. I am shocked that NYC does not realise that the Para 3 is the quintessential bearing arms that the Founders referenced in the 2nd Amendment! Even in the Declaration of Independence the Fo...

Re: Let's talk titanium.

I have two titanium bolts in my shoulder. I'm part bionic. Do you think as time goes on and technology advances, and the technology to augment and replace biological tissues and materials grows, we will truly see more and more people opt to take part in it and even voluntarilly replace undamaged bi...

I like the Autonomy 2 but I still think the action of the trigger is too harsh. I took a dremel to mine.
