Texas also allows open carry of swords. Is the sword not also an assault weapon? And hatchets are also legal; how is a hatchet different from a hawk in function? How do you establish the line? It still makes no sense to me.

I don’t buy Spydercos or most other big name knives on ebay. Way too many fake products being sold by crooked Chinese merchants. Texas just revised their knife laws to allow the carrying of automatic knives. But you cannot carry a club. You can carry a hatchet in your vehicle but not a Tomahawk. Reason still escapes us.
