Is it the old grey sprint run or the newer black KnifeCenter exclusive? I really like those smooth scales on the KC exclusive. It's the older grey sprint, I love the color! K390 or some T15 type steels like S390, S290, Vanadis 60, HAP72. These can go like 68-70HRC. I'd like a more extreme REX45 steel.

Maxamet will last longer than rex45, and much longer than cruwear in both coarse and fine edge holding. I also don't understand. I've decided. I'm getting the Cruwear, Rex seems to be very similar to Maxamet, which I will be getting later anyway, once it will be available again from Spyderco this year. Thanks guys! I own all 3 steels and REX45 has my vote.

I like Cruwear a lot, but i like REX45 just a little more due to the higher hardness.

I'd rather have K390 than 10V.
Or how about some S390 instead of going for all Vanadium steels. Seen some Russians get that up to 70 HRC.

This knife has had more pocket time than any other knife i got the past months. Love it!

Me too, but i knew it would be too early for that. Maybe the mid year catalog.
I am really interested in how the Micarta tests Sal was doing turned out. That will make or break this.

My wallet is safe for now. No new models or sprints that i must have.

I think Shawn suggested to make the Manix LW the new Mule/special steel folder before. It's a good design and affordable platform. My only gripe with the model is that it comes with a pinned construction.

I would love a Para 3 in 15V. The PM2 and Para 3 sprint models seem to sell the best.
