Not sure why the need to cut the cardboard at all? Just slice the tape at the join like everyone else does. My keys do this job.

Also, using a Spyderco is more fun than using your keys. ;)

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Another day at the office. ;) http://i.imgur.com/icUok4Rh.jpg Looks like fun. :) Here in Missouri we've been getting a lot of snow this winter. Just today we got about 3", which probably doesn't sound like much to you but is a pretty decent amount for us. From the pictures you've been posting, it l...

Re: Hello, why do you guys like Spyderco?

Welcome to the forum jaypuck! Like you I used to think anything over $50 for a knife was expensive. However, you get what you pay for, as the saying goes: and this certainly applies to Spyderco products. They may seem pricey at first but after you've owned, handled, and used one, you'll realize they...

Re: Why is having the blade drop closed such a big deal for some people?

I think the answer to the question is that we are all different and our preferences are different. Kind of like lamination lines - some people don't care at all while for others it could be a deal breaker. It's all a matter of personal taste. Just as one person may like blue G-10 handles while anoth...

Re: Sal, what are the chances for another DS93X Thor blade spydie?

Here's another vote for a Damasteel Chaparral, CF or titanium handles. If it's a commemorative knife put an inlay in the handle rather than engraving on the blade. Since both Ti an d Cf has been (over)done (IMO) what about desert ironwood, cocobolo or micarta scaled Chappie? Any of those would be g...

Welcome, I think you'll be quite pleased with the Manix 2 but unfortunately this is the beginning of it...... Hide your credit cards and paypal info. Haha! It was over as soon as I got the tenacious. If the manix is as good as I think it will be, I'm going to be ruined! Already considering a PM2 fo...

Thank you Larrin! Very interesting to see how the various "informal" testing measured up with the CATRA testing. That is an impressive amount of data to work through.

Re: Anti-medicine people really make me sick.

Bloke, I agree. It seems that one defining characteristic of the anti-vaccine crowd is an almost criminal short-sightedness of the ramifications of their position, which stems from their ignorance, or (more commonly) denial of, the incalculable benefit vaccines have been to mankind. I have spoken wi...
