Re: Lil Native Exclusive - Rivers Edge Cutlery

REC Lil Native arrived today. Great look, love the colorway. Action is a bit tight, but I’m sure it will break in nicely. I only have 2 Lil Natives, but they make a good pair. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50854851297_f1921203c1_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50854761216_22ec9d697d_...

Re: Swayback Lookout Thread

Became a pricey week with both of these dropping at roughly the same time! Both are incredible builds, fit n finish, action, so much to appreciate about each of these. The Swayback is a great release, though. No complaints at all on the action or lockup. Excellent quality additions. https://live.sta...

Back up again at KnifeWorks. States shipping on Tuesday, so they most likely have confirmation of a shipment coming in the next couple days.

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

Received mine as well today, and couldn’t be more pleased. Thin 20cv, nice mid-size design, very comfortable in hand, great action, and a pleasant departure in regards to both handle and angular blade design. Only word of cation I can think to share is for those folks that are passionately against s...

Re: KnifeJoy Damascus Delica and Endura

The documentation said it was for Sportman’s Supply. Appears GITD FRN is the main feature - otherwise following standard VG10 steel Delica protocol. (Other apologies for the slight derail on an otherwise amazing damascus Delica release. For the price, you get a lot of unique features with the damasc...

Re: KnifeJoy Damascus Delica and Endura

Received mine on Thursday, and really pleased with it. One oddball aspect of my packaging was that the included documentation was not for the right VG10 damascus release, but for a distributor exclusive glow in the dark FRN handle release. Unsure if that is an old release, or possibly a known or unk...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

How do you like the Crooked River?? It's the only Benchmade that has ever caught my eye. The Mini Crooked River was my first Benchmade, but I’ve really enjoyed it and the axis lock. Blade length is slightly longer than when I tend to favor, but it hasn’t bothered me on the MCR. Incredibly comfy ful...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

After just focusing on Spyderco the first 18 months or so of getting interested in pocket knives, I’ve found myself venturing out to try a few other offerings. A mix of TRM, GiantMouse, ZT and Benchmade. So far very happy with the choices thus far! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48419731607_607...

Re: G10 UKPK officially makes a return! Heinnie Haynes Exclusive

Just received my HH UKPK today. First, very pleased with HH communication and service, and delivery was just 1 week from order (free shipping option). This HH is my first UKPK, and must say I’m impressed. I had noticed a similarity to the Caly 3 prior, but having both in hand now has me convinced th...

Also looks to be back in stock with GPKnives!

Great to see some ‘in stock’ momentum this week.

Re: Smock Anticipation

Unsure if others have had the same issue, but my Smock pretty quickly developed a lanyard tube rattle. I haven’t heard this mentioned, and my other models haven’t had an issue with this, so I suspect/hope it’s just an isolated occurrence.

Re: Smock Anticipation

I must be in the minority that doesn’t functionally care about pocket clips or lanyard holes. On all my prior knifes, I still leave the clip on primarily because it seems to help fill out the handle size in hand. But for the Smock, particularly to enjoy the 3 holes cut through the scales, I just rem...

Re: BladeHQ Exclusive Native 5 Linerless Natural G10 DLC CPM-M4

Price of the satin version last year was $155, so $10 more for DLC seems downright reasonable. Well, that’s the silver lining for those that need a bit of justification. Otherwise, you can think of it as being *consistently* high priced.

Re: Smock Anticipation

Trying to not start holding my breath until I see the first glimpses of the collectors club receiving their Smocks. That has seemingly been a reliable measure of when a new release is 1-2 weeks away, and I don’t see why the Smock distribution would be any different.

Re: Smock Anticipation

Interesting, when I spotted the IG post yesterday I read it as he was just opening up the books for Mod slots - not directly related to Mod jobs for the upcoming (?) Spyderco Smock. He may very well be fine taking orders for the mod jobs, as it all seems to be for unspecified dates at this point. Kn...

Took a shot and it looks like the promo code "letsdoit" still worked for 10% off. $143 shipped for just the delica.
Thanks for the heads up on the St Nicks Delica. That final 10% was enough incentive to get me.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

It is definitely interesting they show the Smock availability within the next 1-3 weeks. That has been the only indication I’ve seen anywhere that it may finally drop soon. Not sure I will take it literally, but still hopeful news.
