Re: Endela (-sized "middle ground" knife) in the "Pac Salt family"?!
Yes, an Endela Salt is definitely on my short list of knives I am impatiently waiting on. The Endela is an underrated masterpiece. It's the perfect EDC. I prefer linerless in Salts because I clip them on my boardshorts which are lightweight and tied with a drawstring. A heavier linered model weighs ...

Re: Is there a quintessential Spyderco?
Absolutely the Delica. I've tried just about every main model from Golden and Seki and the Delica is what I carry 99% of the time, albeit in the wharncliffe variety. But I have a ton of leaf Delicas and carry them all as well from time to time.

Re: Can we get some Ultem scaled Sekis please?
Thanx much for sharing your thoughts. I also got a bunch of info from Brian H. Seems to be pretty controversial. I guess I'll watch the thread. sal Thanks for the consideration anyways Sal! I like the ideas of an Ultem-esque translucent brown G10 or FRCP as suggested by other members here as well. ...

Re: Can we get some Ultem scaled Sekis please?
^^^ That doesn't sounds promising. Maybe best to scrap this idea. I still think it is a great looking material. I like the piss color. It reminds of the translucent brown soles on my late 90s Dr Martens. Well, then... what actually IS with Seki FRCP? :smirk Could / would they do it? It is Transluce...

Re: Can we get some Ultem scaled Sekis please?
^^ That's a bummer. Perhaps that was due to inferior Chinese PEI being used instead of the actual Ultem brand of PEI? I agree that it should definitely be stress tested before being considered for any production folder, because that is pretty concerning. Maybe the dream was over before it started. S...

Re: Can we get some Ultem scaled Sekis please?
Can't tell how good or not it would hold up as a handle material and I think actually not a Seki knife, but the Chaparral would be the no 1 candidate to test the material (since this is the model meant to be a platform for displaying various handle materials. I had original hoped for a Delica in th...

Can we get some Ultem scaled Sekis please?
Ultem is a great material and looks amazing as well. I'd love to see a run of Seki models in Ultem with something like Cruwear. Yes, I know there are aftermarket options but I like factory direct stuff!

The Delica is my favorite model and I have a lot of Delicas and Salts, but my favorite and most carried is probably the K390 Wharnie.

Re: Spyderco 50th Anniversary Knife?
The first prd knife with the Spydiehole is the Worker. Maybe an updated version in CruCarta? A Cru-carta Worker would be amazing. I would be all over that. As long as it doesn't have a bunch of obnoxious lettering emblazoned all over the blade. A tiny little "50th" in the area where they ...

Re: Cricket Lightweight
We did a run of FRN Crickets many years ago. Had problems with twist and the Linerlock. If we ever did it again, we'd have to use 2 liners or change the lock. sal I've mentioned wanting a Cricket-fly (and Dodo-fly) a few times (maybe more than a few! lol) . Would a Cricket shaped SE Reverse S style...
