Re: Is your interest in sharpening on the same level as your interest in knives?

I voted option 4. I’m fairly new to freehand, and think that may play a role in why it is so much fun for me right now. Though I can see why some of the veteran free handlers may see it as a chore.

Fully serrated para 3 $83.77 at walmart.com.
That’s an awesome deal. Wal-Mart is the retailer too. Not a random third party. They also have a digicam pm2 for $116. Not as good a deal as the para3, but still pretty darn good.

Re: A copper spyderco

I tried the flytanium copper. Although very attractive... [IMG] ...it was ultimately way too heavy for my liking(around 8oz I think). So I put the stock scales back on and sold the copper ones. Wow! That is just utterly beautiful! I want those scales! But, half a pound! My goodness lol. It sure doe...

I’ve bought from this seller before. Twice. First was a shaman for $90 the same week they released last year. And the other was a Maxamet native for $85 around the same time.

Re: Efficient Missing Logo and Blade Steel ID

. Real or fake, I’m sure they probably would like to see it anyways. I have no doubts they’ll take care of you either way. But Spyderco wouldn't replace a fake, would they? Why not just send it back to the seller for a refund? Yeah. You’re right about that. But if it actually is fake, I still think...

Re: Spyderco Hatchet

I was hoping someone could provide me with more info on HatchetHawk's unique concave/convex edge. 1. Has this edge been done before? 2. Is there somewhere I can find the designer talking about the theory/concept/use of this 'hawk? 3. If this has been discussed before, could you point me to a link? ...

... I think part of it is how you carry yourself.... This. I work with senior citizens at a senior facility. Not one person has ever batted an eye at my knife. And they voice their opinions about everything. From politics to dusty ledges. But I think it’s mainly because I don’t go around flicking, ...

I have not seen an efficient lacking the logo or anything else before. But if it were me, I would send it in to the mothership. Real or fake, I’m sure they probably would like to see it anyways. I have no doubts they’ll take care of you either way.

Re: Spyderco Hatchet

Received my new Genzow HatchetHawk today. WOW! Just plain WOW! I have come to expect high quality from spyderco, but it still amazes me every time. http://i.imgur.com/JfGl9Z6.jpg My favorite feature I noticed right away, may seem petty, and not at all related to cutting/chopping/performance. But it’...

Re: If spydies had babies

I would like to see the offspring of a pm2 and an Endura. Either an frn/frcp compression lock with the pm2 blade shape, or a liner less g10 Golden lockback with the pm2 blade shape. Maybe they already exist in another model already, and I’m completely unaware.

Re: folder to fixed blade

I think it’s a great idea. Would love to handle a Military inspired fixed blade. Buck did it with their 110 folder and call it the 101.
