Re: Spyderco Online Seconds Sale FAQ
I couldn't figure out why people bought the Ark as when you include shipping it's the same price from your favorite knife shop. I'm happy though. I got a Respect sans sheath which has been on my wish list. Made the painfully slow process worth it. Thank you Spyderco, I appreciate participating in th...

Re: Spyderco Online Seconds Sale FAQ
I went for the police, got to my cart and had to log in again for some reason. Got all the way to paying and was out of stock. It took about 5 minutes before it showed up on the sale page as out of stock.

Re: Spyderco Online Seconds Sale FAQ
Finally got to the main page. I assume you go to Specials/Closeouts. All I'm getting is connection timeouts. I try every couple minutes for 40 minutes now.

Re: Caribbean Troubles
I don't know if this is your issue, but with my Caribbean I was having trouble with the action and adjusting the pivot screw was making it either too sloppy or too tight. What I discovered was that when I was holding it, I was putting slight pressure in the middle of the scale and there was enough f...

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)
I ordered from Optic Planet on the 12th (they were out of stock at this point). I wrote to them to see if they would be able to cover my order. From their response a short while ago: " We should be able to cover your order, but it appears that the ETA will be near the middle of October." I...

Re: Caribbean: Hottest Spyderco Available!
I've found my Caribbean is very susceptible to pinching pressure. If I'm careful not to put any pressure on the sides it swings freely while holding the lock open. Even a little pressure and it won't swing freely.

Get some colored nylon zip ties for testing. They should give you a close idea anyway and zip ties are always useful when you're done

Re: H1 vs. LC200n...Real World Observations
I was helping some friends do some remodeling and used my sheepsfoot Caribbean to cut some notches in treated wood. (edge of 2x4 to about 3/8" depth). Was in a bit of a hurry and didn't have my chisel with me. It worked great! Cut to the depth by pushing and rocking and whittled out the wood. I...

Re: Endura V-Toku2/SUS310 laminated lines
My Endura V-Toku2 says SUS410. The lamination lines are not symmetrical but fairly close, one side is about 3/16 from the edge, the other about 1/8. This is my first Endura. Great knife, fits my hand just right.

Re: Spyderco Reinhold Rhino Giveaway!!!
I'm in! Thank you for the great design. It's a really cool looking knife! Looking back over my 65 years, the biggest standout is my mom. I got my interest in DIY, among many other things and who else would reapolster the seats in my red Falcon with red snakeskin. Yeah, that was high school.

I try to carry a different knife each day just so I get time using each one unless there is a specific task I know I will need one for. If I were to pick 4 they would be: Manbug (hap40) - It's my keychain and the one I carry every day Spyderhawk - The brush in my backyard doesn't stand a chance! My ...

I would think a spyderhawk might be good. Big knife and a salt. I think there are still some out there. I was surprised at how much I like it.

Re: Which Spyderco to Get a None Knife Person?
I'd definitely go for something with H1 or LC200n as he has rusty knives. A never rust knife would be very compelling. As a non knife person probably isn't going to spend much time taking care of them.
