Keeping an eye on these. Love my recon 1 spear point.
I have a couple in both XHP and s35vn (hollow ground as well as high saber) and MC would be a great steel for this knife but not @$260!

Awesome thread windward!
I really appreciate you sharing your experience.
I have most experience with H1 and am trying to build contrasting data points with LC and Magnacut.

It has no lanyard tube issues. the first one I got which was early on in the production run very slightly kissed it but after the first sharpening was free and clear I am going to order one. I didnt like lock backs at the beginnin...

https://i.postimg.cc/htdb6Rgy/20231212-145834.jpg The laplander is my favorite folding saw I've tried. I pack a larger one if I know I'll need it, but otherwise this is long enough for most my uses. Very light. The squirt is the best pocket multitool I've tried. Wish I could find something I like a...

Awesome study Shawn! Tomatoes are a great test medium methinks ;) I have a another test proposal: Two Enduras: a k390 @~66HRC and a ZDP-189 at similar hardness. Chromium carbides vs vanadium carbides. Both coarse and fine edge finishes. I can provide said knives at your request. Edit to add: I've g...
