Re: EDC: Every Day Carry. What does it mean to you?

To me there is only one true EDC knife - The Spyderco Pacific Salt. That's the only knife that meets my needs 365 days of the year, no exceptions. Every time I see your posts about a Pac Salt it makes me want to get one. Only reason I haven't yet is because there are so many other Spyders out there...

Re: Police K390...yea it's freaking awesome.

It makes me happy seeing the Police get so much love. Makes me hopeful we'll see more variations of the P4 compared to the 3. Me too, its so nice to finally have a folder larger than the Endura that still has a thin blade, and it seems that others (myself included) are enjoying it for this same rea...

Re: Hawkfly in Action! (Pics)

I just got back home to Alaska last night from a week-long vacation. For my lower 48 vacation carry I took both a serrated H1 HawkFly and a Manix 2 XL. I don't think I used the Manix at all because the HawkFly was just such a handy little knife. It really cuts above its blade size, I felt like there...

Oh god, a Cruwear Shaman with White/Grey scales would be amazing. I can always dream.

Re: Would anyone else like to see another Cruwear Millie?

I have only a bit of sharpening experience with Cruwear, how does it compare to M4? Because I love me some M4. It sharpens up easier, seems to be more corrosion resistant, and is every bit as durable from my testing. Doesn't have the extreme edge retention of M4, but its also no slouch. Seems to ho...

Re: EDC: Every Day Carry. What does it mean to you?

EDC for me means that the knife must carry well, cut well, and fit the context of my day. For office work days my needs are met with thinner blades of 2-3" and it cant look too threatening (Caly 3 HAP40, Urban K390, HAP40 Delica, Introvert, Cruwear Para3). For my weekend/away from work EDC Ill ...

Re: Will Spyderco ever produce a chisel ground folder?

Id be willing to try one that had an overall chisel grind profile as long as they had options for both right and left handed people. If would be even cooler if they could do it in a double laminated steel with the harder steel as the bottom layer.

Re: Gayle Bradley quality?

Ive had 3 different GB 1s over the years, and all of them have had a very stiff lock bar. Ive developed a technique for opening them with my thumb where I push the meat of it into the gap between the lock bar and the opposing liner and then press it over sideways while continuing to apply firm downw...
