I remain optimistic that an un-coated 204P bladed Para3 will make it to production some day for some vendor. I will then spring from my sofa and get one.

Re: Finding the Para 3: The Perrfect Storm

I find that the height and width are about the same as a PM2....so aside from the depth (length), it takes up just as much pocket as the larger PM2. But i find the blade length to the ideal for a "pocket" use folder. So i will take that as a win. I dont own any PM2's anymore b/c of that. I...

Re: If you had to reduce your collection to three models...

Aside from a Chapparal.....the only spydercos i own are para 3’s, Native 5 LW’s, and Delica 4’s. I do, however, have every blade steel of each ever made and will continue that path.

Re: New EDC Fixed Blade - Suggestions?

I grabbed a enuff.....the mule was just too big for my EDC needs. I have parted ways with every EDC folding knife that was in excess of 3"....and figured the FB should follow. That being said, I still keep a bushcraft FB that is 4+ for that task. But EDC...nope. Too big.

Are the MXG and Lynch clips, in natural titanium, a close match to the blade color on most knives....or is it much more gray/dull?

Re: Para 3 name change?

Given their naming history, para 3 is about spot on. There's probably more, but the only other family I can think of with this naming method is the caly 3 and 3.5. The paramilitary isnt called PM3.5 The military isn't called military 4 The first delica wasn't called delica 3 The first police wasn't...
