Maxamet would probably be terrible in a sword. Why? I mean, sure! If you are thinking about a duel ... but u'll never cross your sword with another sword nowdays.. we are in 2020 mate. Good part buying from Amazon is you can return it too if you only have half a suspicion, bad part is you have to examine your new knife very carefully and probably ask for opinions too. To be honest, if i were so fortunate to live in US i'd only buy from reputable and "official" retailers ...

Now i'm 99% sure mine is real. Cutting and sharpening test will close the 1% gap .. i just doubt i'm gonna have enough time for that before weekend,but i'm not so worried at this point.
