That is one heck of a knife. Looks like I am going to have to hunt one of these bad boys down and make a new home for it!
Good luck. It's a grail for many, and usually very expensive when it pops up.

Re: First real spyderco for sons 18th B-day ???

Native is the best choice. S110V might be a little difficult to sharpen for a first knife.

Day one.
This intrigued me so I'm going to carry my Manbug for seven days. I do have several Leatherman in my EDC pack however for cutting tasks I'm going to use my Manbug.

Re: Sal, what are the chances for another DS93X Thor blade spydie?

I'd like cheap handles, as long as they're put on with screws. Keep the initial price down, and allow those folks that are so inclined to go nuts with custom scales. Someone will undoubtedly make some, but if it's a liner style, maybe those of us who aren't super handy machinist types can make some...

I couldn't get into the BHQ DLC PM2. Sold it off.

This looks great though

Re: Just bought a Chokwe

I abhor lil anything. I'm offended that smaller is better. Quite the contrary. I have a ultra lite mod I would love to see production. The Ti half makes it very receptive to a liner less scale. The liner is so heavy everytime I pick up my Chokwe box I open it thinking a knife is in it. I bought my m...

Re: Good Bye Stretch!

I need to handle a stretch 2. I have XXL hands. I don't see the constant reference to hand size cramping with the Stretch 1. I have three and I love the "locked into my grip" feel. I'm a geek. So the functionality of design looks good to me. I'm a traditionalist. However can certainly see and feel t...

Re: What Millie will be 'revealed' next?

I can't really see a "lightweight" version being much lighter unless it were done with a single partial liner. There just isn't that much weight difference between G10 and FRN is there? I can't see there being any more than half an ounce difference if that. The Military is already pretty light for ...

Re: What Millie will be 'revealed' next?

To me the Military is the equivalent of the shark or the Colt 1911. They got it right the first time. Leave it be and make another model with different features! :) I have never understood the "Gee i wish Spyderco would make model X more like model Y, only with some features from model Z" Fair play...

Re: Just one problem with wire clips

I bought an OG Endura around 1992. The integral clip snagged on my cars seat and seatbelts til it snapped off. I bought a second Endura which ended in the same result.
It took me 22 years before I got another Endura. Glade for the metal clip now.

Re: Two things that today cannot be done.

Switching to a back lock would make me put a PM2 back in my rotation. This one simple thing could make this my main knife and perhaps my only knife, if forced to do only have one. The lack of a back lock is why I do not carry the one I have and caused me to give away another one. I've had 5 PM2, no...
