Re: Black S90V Delica with blue liners - KW exclusive
Knife is being returned - sent it out today but here are some pics. I had to crop to upload and the others I can't upload no matter what I do, not sure why, but the other side of the blade had worse scratches and the stain is worse in person. Black stains I can deal with. Scratches I can deal with....

Re: Sprints
I know that this sentiment has been put forth by others, probably in a far more articulate manner, but my general view of this is the reason for me to have this "hobby" is supposed to be, well, enjoyable, the community, the awesome new steels & materials.... but when I try, several &q...

Re: Quick question: Upcoming K390 Endura family: Sprint runs or regular production?
The plan is for a sprint series. I'd like to do all of the models in the "Endura family". I'd be intrested in what additional blade configs you wight also like? sal Sal, if there’s any way at all to make the k390 Seki line up regular production, please, please do it. They’d be my perfect ...

Re: CPM SPY27 steel
Regular production used to mean "readily available" for the most part. Now.....not so much. Look at the maxamet para 3 and paramilitary 2. Are you sure that’s not just because they are between production runs? The Maxamet Manix LW and Native LW are readily available everywhere, the PM2 an...

Re: Sprints
Users will say this is a great idea. Collectors will cry that it reduces their value. Well if they could solve the issue of people gaming the system it would go a long way for others to get them in the 1st place. Limiting them doesn't seem to work either as some people end up with a lot of them (ga...

Re: CPM SPY27 steel
i dont understand if it is a sprint or something like the s110v and maxamet versions. production or sprint. The SPY27 Para 3 LW and Manix LW are not grouped with the other knives on the “Sprint Run” page of the Reveal, and there is nothing mentioning limited/sprint run status in the descriptions of...

Re: Black S90V Delica with blue liners - KW exclusive
I guess anything's possible but I can almost guarantee that the knife didn't come from Spyderco with scratches and a chip on the blade Well, to be fair you wouldn't expect it to come from Spyderco with large black stains on the blade either but here we are.... Luckily my issue was only the staining...

Re: TKJ Spyderco exclusive cruwear ????
He did a preorder? I guess buying a limited Spyderco is now like catching a unicorn? If that is what the future holds I am gonna direct my attention elsewhere. I share your sentiment, and it appears that many others are starting to as well. The scarcity marketing, FOMO driven knife drops are becomi...

Re: TKJ Spyderco exclusive cruwear ????
Missed out. What a way to wake up. Glad to see they did 2 per household on such a low quantity knife so everyone can get their extra to flip!! Guess the Knife Joker moniker fits! Pretty bummed to miss out on this for how long I've been asking for a DLC Cruwear knife. :( Don't lump everyone in...

Re: CPM SPY27 steel
This is something I’ve hoped for. Mainly in the Manix LW. While I’ve enjoyed my S90v CS sprint and tried to like the S110v model I never did care for BD1 and don’t like BD1N that much. Something relatively easy to sharpen and with decent edge holding appeals to me. Strange that you don’t like BD1N ...

Re: I Don't Get The "Spydie-Flick."
It is absolutely hilarious the things that people will demonize and vilify just because they don’t like it, or don’t do it themselves. I can just imagine people sitting here angrily typing “stop liking what I don’t like!” It’s simply just another way to open the knife. I’ve been middle finger openin...

This forum has always had people who cannot accept ideas that don’t jive with their own. I have been a member here since 2011. Don’t have my original account information so I can’t log in. Anyway, I remember pointing out (obviously for the first time on this forum) that the carbon fiber scales on th...

Re: Sal, can we please get a Para 3 lightweight in grey/maxamet please?
Why make it exactly the same as the G10 version? Need to get creative... Because it would follow the same logical progression of the other maxamet/LW models. The native, manix 2, and then para 3 LW. All in grey FRN and maxamet. It would be a production piece. Leave it up to the sprints and exclusiv...

Re: Para 3 texture on G10 scales chips?
I looked very closely at the pictures. What your pictures show is not the texture chipping off.... It looks *exactly* like your scales came into contact with something sharp/pointy and that in turn damaged the texture. I have had this exact same thing happen, and it looks just like that. Peel ply G1...

^^^Me, too! If you think you might ever want the carbon fiber or pakkawood handled ones, though, you might consider grabbing them now. Even though they don't fit your collection plan now, it'll save you a lot of money to get any currently available exclusive models while they're still for sale at M...

Shameful, just shameful :( I'm such a sexist thinking that everyone on here I talk to are men. I should know better. Re: Sal, can we please get a Para 3 lightweight in grey/maxamet please?
One at a time guys, they can barely get the catalog models out Well to be fair the only thing they’d need to do is color the FRN differently. They already make para 3 blades in maxamet. All of the p3 blades are interchangeable. They already have the mold and make para 3 LW scales. So really it boil...

Sal, can we please get a Para 3 lightweight in grey/maxamet please?
The para 3 LW is quickly becoming one of my most carried and used knives. It’s just...wonderful! I have each iteration of the current lightweight maxamet options and love them, but a para 3 LW in the grey/maxamet treatment would be just about my perfect knife. I’d literally buy 4 of them just for me...
