Re: Let's Talk About The Alcyone
...But I'd say that since the Alcyone is in my pocket, stained and paint flecked and a little dirty, and your Sage is mostly sitting in the drawer except for special occasions, that my Alcyone is really a whole lot cooler. Right on! I enjoy the energy coming through in this post. But I have to admi...

Re: Why does Spyderco not make more autos?
I still cannot wrap my brain around other companies not following the laws. It makes no sense for them to expose their business to that much risk by investing all the time, money, people, and reputation into producing a product that is illegal. The knife community is not that big, I hope someone fro...

Re: Parametric Titanium Scale for the Manix 2!!!
Nice work! I want to do that to my Manix too. I have been looking for some used Grimsmo Manix scales for awhile. They come up on the used market every now and then.

Re: 2018 Forum Calendar Contest!
My first time entering, so here goes... Somehow I was late to the Spyderco game, but I am making up for lost time. Pictured is my ninth Spyderco purchase this year, the Gayle Bradley (C134CFP). It was today's EDC knife, but with so many choices some days it takes me a while to make a selection. The ...

Re: Spyderco military 2
The Military would be one of my favorite knives if it had tip-up carry. All my other knives are tip-up and my muscle memory makes it an unnatural feeling when returning it to my pocket. The backwards carry also slows down deployment. New clips from the factory are relatively inexpensive. How hard wo...

Re: Sal - Is the Military 2 still happening?
Hopefully it will have a tip-up option. I sold my Miltary because I could not get used to the pocket clip. Seemed unnatural since all my other knives are tip-up.

Re: KW Excl: Mil CF/Ti R.I.L. S90V = Mid May?!
I'm intrigued by this version, been looking forward to it since it was announced. But I already have two millies, just picked up the M390 CF last month. And now this announcement. Bad timing. I'm still waiting for a tip up Military. You would think the good folks at Spyderco could have figured this ...

Re: Anyone see Apostle P's rant on Spyderco?
I saw it last night. I was not offended, it was just one guy's opinion. Everybody has them, so I can't fault someone when they express theirs. One YouTuber is not majority of customers, however I have seen the issues raised in the video by others. I only recently got into better quality knives. I bo...

C101CFPE2 Manix 2 is on pre order with Knife Center. This is my first time trying out pre-order, I usually by In-Stock items. Hope my experience is better than the one Archimedes described above.

Carbon Fiber - Rough Edges
I received my Knife Center exclusive Manix 2 with carbon fiber scales this week. I found the edges of the scales pretty rough for my liking. There were tiny pieces of glass poking out that made the scale edges feel uncomfortable. I took some wet 2000 grit sandpaper and lightly touched up the edges. ...
