I've been seriously looking at the GB2 but I am worried that the pick would be difficult for me (a lefty) to disengage. Have any southpaws been able to make that one work well?

K390 and m4. I'm loving these steels, and the manix 2 is a home run.

Hitachi will send us any steel we want except ZDP. They say that ZDP must be heat treated by their authorized heat treating houses that they've trained. I'm carrying a production Para 3 in REX 45 today, so it won't be long now. sal Omg imagining super blue military, police and manix 2 right now...

Does spyderco ever answer questions about what HRC they are aiming for on a specific steel? Sounds like it has great potential after watching @deadboxhero's rex 45 steel geekout video.

What about the spyderco ARK instead? H1 steel and no moving parts. Any sand that gets on it will just fall off.

Another vote for the 4 way option. As a lefty the liner lock feels natural to me, not so much the compression lock.

I wish spyderco would make a lefty compression lock shaman...

Would love a k390 pattada.

There was mention of the possibility of a k390 version on bf by sal. Here's hoping! Who else is on the bandwagon?
