Re: UKPK drop point availability

It was discontinued in 2010 or 2011, I believe. Knifeworks still has some in stock. https://www.knifeworks.com/search/?q=Uk%20penknife It's still available. OP see page 98 of the catalog. http://catalog.spyderco.com/productguide/?page=101 I may be thinking of the SE models, which is what is availab...

As originally defined, Flash Batches are brand new designs and not like Sprint Runs which are based on current or old models.
So, the Lil Nilaka is based on thin air?

If not, I have a suggestion for the next flash batch : a "large Dragonfly" with a 2,75-3 inch blade lenght :) :spyder:

Re: LC200N Native 5 Salt. Still no knife. Come on! When???

LC200N Native 5. Still no knife. Come on! When? How long will these old excuses be expected to stand? It seems like it will be a year or so here soon with the pre-order. Will it even be here by Christmas?! I'm finally becoming inpatient, or at least upset. It's taken a while, but this is the first ...

Re: Unclad HAP40 Sprint

With the success of the HAP40/SUS410 Sprint perhaps it's time for an unclad HAP40 Sprint. As for FRN color I'm thinking June Bug. You're aware of the current Rex 45 craze, right? It's basically hap40 on steroids considering the heat treat, and is unlaminated. I'm not so much worried about the perfo...

The lockbar should just have a floating pivot, like the linerless G10 version, not a pin (rivet). At least that's how it looks.
It is a pin, not a rivet. I suppose the term "pin" congures up a permanent fastener, which is not the case with the N5 Salt.

The lock bar is pinned, but the rest is screw construction. I'm not sure how easy it is to disassemble.

Got mine yesterday from KC. Does anyone else find theirs very stiff. Mine is, and it's not a "tight pivot" issue. Rather it seems to be the amount of tension the spring and lockbar put on the blade.
Mine is, too, but I haven't had a chance to try adjusting the pivot.

Re: Para won't stay sharp

I would suggest a 30 degree inclusive angle. Any of our steels have no problem with that. Do you recommend the same approach for any model with a secondary bevel?
