Re: Reveal 15 - Live!

I just pre-ordered a Techno 3. $OUCH$ I'm having second thoughts on pre-ordering the Techno 3. I'm sure it's a really nice little but I already have several really nice Ti framelocks that didn't cost close to $300. I'll wait to hear what others think after they drop but at this point I think I'll h...

Re: Reveal 15 - Live!

I think it's time to add a Techno to my collection

As much as I like the Sages I'm not sure I need another burnt orange knife or another Sage 5 LW or G10. We'll see how I feel when they become available

Re: Spymyto is hot!

I really liked the design on paper, but it has a few flaws. First the inside edges of the handles are quite sharp and uncomfy if you use a tight grip. Sharp enough on the Ti side it will shave fingernail off. If you leave the flipper tab on that acts as a choil it forces a very rearward grip on wha...

That G10 Manbug is one I didn't buy when I had the opportunity and let it get away

Re: Native 5 LW Weirdness (or not?)

I currently have 6 Native 5 LWs and haven't experienced this issue with any of them. My first was a Native 5 LW with S35VN. I bought it used and well broken in and I think it's still my favorite. I have it in my pocket today. Just used it to cut up a beer box haha

Re: Too good to be true?

The images are real but there's a lot of scam sites that use real images just like this one. One of the best ways to tell is by the payment methods they accept. The homepage does say that it accepts credit cards. So that's a good sign. However, if you run the site through the scam detector their scr...

Re: Spymyto is hot!

Has anyone got this blade to slice paper cleanly? Like, even pull cut? I hit it on the sharpmaker and stroop but am tearing paper like I'm cleaning in the bathroom. I got other fat BTE blades like the ayoob clean pull cut sharp, but no luck with the myto so far. Love the knife, but one of the least...

Re: Spymyto is hot!

I’m a little late to the numbers game: 0653 . Excellent quality and nice touches with the crowned spine. Very smooth operation, solid lock, good detent and snappy action. Good value. I agree, mine was great out of the box and the action seems to be getting better the more I use it. I've been carryi...

Re: Smock: new style pivot

On one hand I can appreciate CQI. On the other hand these rolling changes lessen the value of the pre-CQI models. All the more reason to buy knives because you like them and want to use and keep them! I guess. While I really need to thin out my collection the fact is, I rarely sell knives. However,...

Re: Your favorite color combination?

Since I have all the SNK exclusives I gues I'd have to say I like the red handles with DLC (black) blade

Honestly, that's ^ not really true though. I like variety, so I carry something different often

This one doesn't call my name at all. The optional flipper tab, and the over travel stop are clever though.
I was on the fence. I like framelock flippers though too. I'm really glad I decided to get one. It's really nice and I'm interested to see how M398 does

I've cut up a few boxes with mine so far. No issues with the blade geometry. I'm sure it'll only improve when/if I reprofile it

I just push the meat of my thumb down into the lock access and slide it over... Never seemed difficult on the 3 or more samples I've had even with XL hands. One of my more carried Spydercos since it's release. It might've been you who suggested that when I got my first GB. It works well for me and ...

Re: Spymyto is hot!

If you own a GB2, this lock feels like a silk pillow in comparison. My initial impression of this knife is quite good. Feels very nice in hand and looks even better, too. And the GB is like a silk pillow in comparison to the GB2. Still not difficult to unlock once you figure it out. I think the Spy...
