Re: Lil’ Lum Compared to the Rhino

I have a Rhino and I've handled the Lil' Lum multiple times (trying to make myself like it I suppose), but it just didn't immediately feel right to me as the Rhino did for whatever reason. Regardless, it's a great looking little knife and I really like the blade shape.

Re: Thoughts on new micarta handle spydies?

Thumbs up for micarta here as well. My micarta experience is more or less limited to the ones that Esee uses on many of their models (aside from the Street Beat), but I absolutely love the feel.

I don't currently have anything with Jade G-10 in my collection, but I've always been fond of it. Super excited about the M4!

Personally, I'm really liking mine. The ergos, fit & finish are great and it seems to find it's way into my pocket several times a week.

Re: What do you want to see more of from Spyderco?

I'll definitely jump on the more portable/packable Sharpmaker bandwagon. I'm also really enjoying the ideas and designs coming from Paul Alexander and I think Evil D's Sliverax Sprint idea is stellar.
As for the Shaman - Sprint away Spyderco! :)

Re: Spyderco Rhino Grande please!!

This thought has crossed my mind as well. As far as the specs go in regards to blade length and lock type, I'd personally be happy to see them hold true to Mr. Reinhold's Rhino Grande specifications (3"/Frame Lock). BTW, I'm totally impressed with the current Spyderco rendition! The overall aes...

I’d be down for a titanium Caribbean. Oh man that would be great.

Sticking with the factory contours would be a must for me as well and I'd love the added grip potential of micarta or CF.

Re: What do you want to see more of from Spyderco?

I'd like to see more Sharpmaker rod grits. I'd also like to see another Fold-A-Vee type portable sharpener, something closer to the Sharpmaker than a bench stone (meaning something with set angles) and highly portable, with course and fine grits and especially capable of sharpening serrations in th...

These releases are exciting for me! There was really nothing new in the catalog that spoke to me, but there are a number of these blades that do. Very good stuff!

Re: New catalog wish list...

Probably way too soon for either to make it into production models yet, but I'd love to see the Marcin Slysz Mini Persian flipper, and/or the Coffin Jack flipper make their way into the Spyderco catalog in the form of some higher end offerings. :) :) :) I'm also anxious to see what Spyderco and Pete...
