Re: New 20CV Para 2!!!

I’m going to mildly try and get this one, mostly because I’ve lost interest in the ridiculousness of sprints. If I waste 5 hours refreshing web pages in hopes of getting the knife...that’s about $1,000 worth of lost income, not to mention the added frustration of not getting one and seeing it on fl...

Re: St. Nick's Exclusive Para 3

Any chance it could be "HAP40/SUS410 laminate steel" The Para 3 is made in Golden Colorado and HAP40 is a Japanese steel by Hitachi. If I remember correctly, Hitachi doesn't allow others to heat treat their steel, so I would imagine the St. Nick's exclusive would have to be something else...

Re: Paramilitary 2 Sprint Poll

I voted no. As stated Maxamet looks sooo good as Spyderco presented it the first time. I also like contrast in my knives. Im not into black on black on black. I will add how ever, is there a reason all the steel parts (liners) can not be DLC. I have a few colour + DLC PM2s and the full black out of ...

Re: New 20CV Para 2!!!

There was word of another run of the Knifewroks green 204P... maybe late this year or early next year..... then I heard whispers of supply problems of 204P...take that with a handful of salt as it was internet whispers.

Does DLT offer preorder or notice of release?

Re: New 20CV Para 2!!!

Not to detract from this sweet PM2, as im definitely keen on this one, but It seems some of these CC knives go to ebay before the retail release...how much of a collector are you if you're flipping them???

Re: Why did the market want heavier knives?

I cant add much on the knife design side, but as someone that carries over 20lbs on my waist every day, the weight of a PM2 is fine with me.

What is the advantage of carrying in this position over others?

Re: Hide Ability between my Spyderco PM2 and my Kershaw Blackout

to me that looks to be an uncomfortable place to carry.. Wht about bending over? Also my hands naturally hang at my sides, not at my crotch... unless its itchy of course lol As for "value", when you own a knife, whether safe queen or user, do you value it by others or by you. Its only impo...

Re: Maxamet and the future

As far as the PM2 goes, I dont see the Rex45 being a replacement as it was a Sprint and the Maxamet ment to be standard line up.

Fingers crossed the PM2 Maxamet returns for good.

Re: Knife Birthday Present

Oh and to add, its an old knife tradition to give a coin with the knife. Your father gives you the coin back in return as to symbolise "buying" the knife from you, as a gifted knife can "cut" the relationship.

Re: Knife Birthday Present

IMO the PM2 is a great choice. Im bais though as I love them. I also think the S35V is great bang for buck steel and punches above its weight. Im not saying it is necessarily better than the 52100 or Cru-Wear. Its Brown G10 will set it a little apart from the black of many others. But definitely wai...

Re: Any interest in a PM2 with LC200N

honestly, i don’t think i’d want to carry a knife like a pm2 or a manix into the ocean. my pacific salt gets pretty sandy and i can’t imaging dealing with a more complex locking mechanism in the same conditions. i’d love a manix2 lw backlock in lc200n though. i would probably still be happy with a ...
