Year before that was 17:06...
I should really just go and busy myself with something else

Re: Forum Knife/Forum Calendar - Delays
Last year, the winner was announced at 17:33... so our tenterhooks situation may be continuing for a couple more hours, here!

Re: Is this real or fake?
If you bought it as new, then it certainly appears to be a fake. If you look at the very last serration closest to the tip, you'll notice it pokes out beyond the remaining blade edge. In a genuine Spyderco Ladybug, I believe this last serration should come to a completely flush finish with the remai...

Re: 2019 Forum Calendar Contest!
Spyderco Civilian I had this idea for a Hallowe'en-themed Spydie calendar picture a couple of years ago, and last fall I actually found myself with enough time on my hands to do it! The Civilian seems to have been notable by its absence in recent calendars - maybe because it's Spyderco's most intimi...

Re: The officially unofficial new Techno 2 thread!
After seeing the side-by-side shots, I'm thinking the blade evolution is leading nicely towards a stubby, powerhouse of a wharncliffe for the T3. Now that I would probably be unable to resist!

Probably the Dodo. I know it already got a couple of sprints, but there's no need for it stay extinct, right?!

Introvert is correct! Congratulations!
If you release in Earth grip without swiftly rotating your hand out of the path of the swinging blade, there will be blood.

Nope.
Guess I'll have to give a big hint... All of the spydie bites occurred because I was holding the knife in Earth grip.

Nope and nope. Thanks for playing, though!
It's the knife's rather unique design that lends itself to cutting the back of your middle finger if you're a little careless.

Although the backlock has nothing to do with it. But it does narrow down the field a bit.

Guess my new knife from spydie bite location!
Got my latest Spyderco today. It's great. And, while checking it out this evening, I got three separate accidental spydie bites on the back of my middle finger on my dominant hand. If you have this knife, I'm betting the same thing happened to you, too! (Well... maybe not three times. I'm probably f...

OK... I was worried about seeing all the Tasmans on the list until I realised that was just the old models with the dimpled scales. We're fine here!
Shame about the Introvert and Szabohawk on the list. Ahh well.

Spyderco Tasman Salt The Tasman Salt was my first ever Spyderco, and it has spent far more time in my pocket than any other knife I've owned. Whilst the serrated hawkbill blade may look intimidating and highly specialised to the uninitiated, I have found it to be the perfect shape, size, and edge fo...

Para Military 2 (Sprint run) - C81GPORBK2 I've been a fan of Spydercos for a few years now, and figured it was time I threw my hat into the ring for the photo contest. Pictured is my work knife, resting on a lever of Engine 3's pump panel. In December, I was looking for the knife to make my EDC for ...

Re: Roc getting close
Sal had mentioned a while ago that there were some issues with the production or quality of this knife and that is why it has been delayed. That may explain why the preorders have been up for some time now. I thought this thing was hollow ground until just recently when I was perusing the catalog a...

Matriarch 2 Emerson in H1 and safety orange.
This will, of course, not happen, but it would be fantastic.
