Color me confused. OP your seller claims:

1. He purchased the knife personally from Spyderco.

2. The knife was made only for SF, thus sterile.

Those two claims seem to counter each other.

Spyderco has certainly pushed the envelope with their CF offerings lately. I would love to see more fully CF handles, not just the peel-ply/G10 ones. The fluted CF certainly has my attention. Being a huge Manix 2 fan, I'd love to see one with a full CF handle.

Maybe we'll hear some more after the Amsterdam meet? If they have a proto we might even get to see some pics.

Just received my HAP40 Stretch. I can't get enough of this burnt orange FRN!

All the online listings and the catalog list it at 5/5.2 oz which would indicate full liners. I truly do hope it's just an error because a sprint this nice deserves that extra step.

I agree with you Tabo. The handle and blade have a very "custom" feel to them. I've noticed that Taichung has been putting out some great pieces with great designs that feel a lot more expensive than they are.
