phillipsted mentioned in his blade show report http://www.spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?64158-Blade-Show-Report ION – A new Brad Southard flipper. Looks a lot like a 2/3-size version of the original flipper – about 6 inches open. The concept version had very thin G-10 scales over titanium liner...

Well Mexico won 1-0 against Cameroon despite some dubious refereeing decisions. The Netherlands thrashed Spain 5-1 in revenge for losing the final 4 years ago and Chile beat Australia 3-1. Today the game between England and Italy is the stand out match, who will cope with the heat and humidity of Ma...

Well Brazil overcame Croatia 3-1 with a bit of luck on their side. Today we have 3 games, with the Spain vs. Netherlands game being a rematch of the 2010 final, should be a great match.

Today's games
Mexico vs. Cameroon
Spain vs. Netherlands
Chile vs. Australia

Good job there :) The good news is that at least now you know you have the skill to bring back a chipped blade if it ever occurs again in the future.

We have had the riots, the last minute building works and the corruption allegations. J-Lo has stormed off from the opening ceremony due to artistic differences but finally the football/soccer will start in a few hours. Can Croatia overcome the host nation to win or will Brazil stake their claim to ...

How about a bottle of malt scotch each? You can think about the character traits of each of your friends and buy a whisky that matches. When you give them the gifts, you can tell them your reasons for picking the particular bottle and hopefully have a few laughs.

Anyone remember Ray Mears? Loved his show! He always had a real case study for each episode telling how one lived through something in full detail. He uses a custom bushcraft made by a custom knife maker. He dedicated an episode on it too. https://youtu.be/9phlDH4h-eU Ray is still around, I just wa...

In addition to the above, the Civilian was originally made for a (non-military) US Government Agency and I'm fairly certain that the Autonomy is being made for the Coast Guard. The Autonomy is a really nice looking knife :D I see knifecenter have them on pre-order. http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com...

Buy a Fallkniven DC4 sharpening stone, it's made for this. One side is diamond coated and the other is ceramic. It's small and light enough to fit in your pocket or bag without being noticeable. Better yet it is small enough to fit in some type of pouch that you can attach to your knife. I use mine ...
