I’d favor a pe wharncliffe for that job. I often cut two liter bottles in half to make water scooped for the boat and kayak. PE makes a cleaner straighter cut. I love seeing EVERY new “new” knife and new “old” knife in the reveals, but honestly, the Stretch XL Salt is the only one I really care about right now.

Use them every day on my salt knives to attach a float. Almost never use them on any other knives but would always rather have one than not just to have the option.
