Re: It's back, with a twin.....
I love the S110v Manix FRCP Lightweight! :) Spyderco really nailed it with the colour of that blue FRCP ;) :D It holds a working edge forever and it is one of Spyderco's lightweights that truly is far lighter than a G10 version. It is the only knife that I will carry in the summer time clipped inner...

Re: What scale color for the upcoming MagnaCut sprint?
If G-10 versions are also produced then I would love to see some blue-weave carbon fiber laminate versions of a Magnacut Police or Caly 3.5 ...those would be beautiful knives. Also. if ZDP-189 is being discontinued then British Racing Green is really far too much of an awesome colour to be retired f...

Re: Police 4 questions
Thanks for the welcome back Doug. I will probably be stopping in a lot more frequently in the future than over the past 5 years …although I don’t think that I would be posting anywhere near the same frequency that I used to post. Although I previously only had the G-10 SE Police 3 in VG-10 steel it ...

Re: Police 4 questions
Hello fellow Spyderco Fans, Wow …it’s hard to believe that I haven’t posted in almost 6 years. I’ll try to keep this one brief. I’m sure that will get either a chuckle from those of you who might remember my earlier posts …or maybe someone calling BS on me for writing that. We’ll have to see which o...

Re: Super Blue Super Blue Super Blue
Just curious as to what Spyderco production knives come from Moki besides the Caly series? Is the Police 3 manufactured there? That would be awesome in SB. http://www.spyderco.com/forumII/viewtopic.php?t=56525" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Just did a Google search and foun...

Re: Haven't seen much Stretch vs Stretch 2 talk?
No, I like both G10 and CF.......I am just not a fan of brown G10. Others like it and all the more power to them......I don't like it and would prefer a CF version.....or alternate colour G10. But if I were to buy a brown G10 Stretch and modify it then I would be quite happy with some stabilized bur...

Re: Haven't seen much Stretch vs Stretch 2 talk?
I want one but haven't been able to pull the trigger yet. I really wish this one was a little more affordable. :( +1 +2 .......especially with the weak CAD dollar. I will probably get one before they sell out but will wait till the end to see if the elusive CF ever shows up......because not only am...

Re: Pacific Salt is here to stay right?
Actually, I would be curious to find out whether the new all black SE Pacific Salt is now regular production or if it will only be around for a little while. Does anybody know the answer to this?

Re: New Release! - Police 3 with ZDP-189 and Titanium Scales
I will definitely be keeping an eye on this thread.....hopefully there will be a new offering of steel other than VG-10 in SE (probably not ZDP - as I've heard that it doesn't do well with SE). My SE G-10 Police 3 works very well as a steak and bread knife.

Re: Persistence in Canada?
Whenever I have anything shipped to Canada I request that the dealer tighten down the pivot screws and even zip tie the blade shut. If some border services finds a knife they will attempt to open it by way of a very hard wrist flick.....if it opens it is considered a gravity knife. In this case, you...

Re: Para 2 in S110V is that true and if so when and where.
Hi Mic1, Welcome to our forum. I am carrying a production sample made from production parts that are being assembled now. The 110 models will all be a dark blue and they are not sprints. sal Holy Crap! I still haven't got my first Para 2 yet......was going to wait on the KW exclusive......but this ...

Re: Very disappointed
Hmmmn, I've never really looked too hard at the Sage series and Chaparral ......with all these ringing endorsements from fellow forumites perhaps I should look harder. The problem is that there are too many good knives that Spyderco puts out (a huge problem for my bank account) ......too many to EDC...

Re: Side by side pics of Tasman Salt vs Pacific Salt vs Matriarch 2? (open and closed)
Actually, I think this was the photo that I was thinking of earlier. The Lil Matriarch comparison to the new all black waved Matriarch 2 that I am lusting over. In my mind's eye I was confusing the Lil Matriarch in the photo as a Tasman Salt. Actually, an all black Lil Matriarch (with or without Eme...

Re: G10 Delica/Endura in Super Gold
Whatever it is - I hope that it is non-clad. I love my CF Caly 3......but I dislike the easy surface scratching of the cladding. I still have a NIB SB Stretch that I'm not sure I will be keeping. If some more unclad Super Blue shows up I might just send it on to a happier home after picking up an un...

Re: Side by side pics of Tasman Salt vs Pacific Salt vs Matriarch 2? (open and closed)
Get both......that is my plan at least. :D The Pacific Salt SE has just been released in all black as well as the all black waved Matriarch. The Salt doesn't "need" the coating.....but it sure looks nice, and the all black Matriarch sure is beautiful too. I would have gotten the all black ...

Re: G10 Delica/Endura in Super Gold
Hopefully whatever new steel is used in a G10 Endura/Delica will also end up in a new G10 Stretch as well. M4 equivalent steel ......maybe a HAP40 G10 Stretch?
But would really be loving a nice dark (non Smurf) blue or dark green (KW) G10 version of a new Stretch.

Re: 2015 Forum Knife Announcement
I think it's a great deal with the discount code. I just checked and the price is still $159.95. I'm not quite a new user to the site, was there some secret code going around or emailed out to select people? (If so maybe somebody shouldn't have mentioned it here.) The previous knife was S110V, mayb...

Ouch.....forgot about these ones...... I don't have a Delica or Endura yet as FRN (except the LtWts) is not my most favourite scale material :o ......but I was thinking of grabbing a G10 version of one of these to check out the Super Gold .......just too many interesting knives coming out of S...

Re: Aqua Salt now up for sale at Knifeworks!!
I will probably get one as well from my local B&M store in Toronto......when it finally gets here. :) But it seems like they have not been getting any of the new knives that quickly from Spyderco. They still haven't got the SE all black Pacific Salt or the all black SE Matriarch that ...
