Re: Very Disappointed

Thank you Sal and thank you Spyderco! I received our two PM 2's back today and I couldn't be more pleased! The work was done very well, exactly the way I asked and returned within their turn around time. I think they went above and beyond what they had to do. Thank you again, Sal and Spyderco!

Re: Very Disappointed

Original Poster here again. Sal, I can't thank you enough for the favor of a reply! I can't tell you how much I appreciate that! I also want to extend my appreciation to those who sympathized and understood my frustration. As for some of the responses I've received I find it interesting that replyin...

Re: Very Disappointed

Original Poster here. Yes I use Whia torx drivers. This isn't the first time I've removed screws from a knife.

Very Disappointed

About six or seven years ago I bought a PM2 which I eventually gave to my son. About two years ago it was stolen. A month ago I decided to buy my son a new one and thought I might get one for myself. I received them about three weeks ago. I changed the pocket clip position on mine from tip down to t...

Re: paramilitary 3

I too am waiting to see what the Paramilitary 3 will be like. In the mean time I have purchased a Delica 4 FFG and I'm not at all disappointed. I'm not a collector so it will be interesting to me to see if there is any reason to get a Paramilitary 3. I do want to get a Dragonfly though as it is pret...

Re: Spyderco knife choice for someone with severe arthritis?

I would go with a short bladed fixed blade. Maybe one of the Enuff knives.

Re: New member

Thanks for the suggestion, Holland. Unfortunately that is more than I can rationalize spending. At this point I have difficulty rationalizing spending much more than about $130.

Re: New member

Thanks, STAK. I'm just not inclined to buy both unless I find a deficiency in either the PM 2 or the Manix 2. I would actually be more inclined to get a more stout version of the Delica than the PM 2 or the Manix 2 as they are rather large and I'm not sure that size is warranted. Thank you for your ...

Re: New member

I really don't have a collectors heart. I don't collect anything, really. Between the Manix 2 and the PM 2 I'm leaning heavily towards the PM 2 as I'm familiar with it and it is in some ways a big Delica but stronger than the Endura. Spyderco in general seems to offer the most bang for the knife buy...

Hi, everyone. My name is Brian, I live in Fresno, CA. I have a Delica. My son has a Squeek and a PM2. I think my next Spyderco might be a Dragonfly. For my larger knife I'm debating between a PM2 and a Manix 2. I'm not a collector and I'm not really much of a knife nut just a user who appreciates a ...

Re: Tip up or tip down. Which do you perfer?

I have almost always carried tip up and have never had any problems. I rarely carry or use a knife that has more than a three inch blade.

Knife suggestion

I'll probably get heat for this with many saying I'm a wimp. I don't really care. The Paramilitary 2 is the best knife I have ever had. The instant I lose it, may it never occur, I will replace it immediately. However what I really really want, if it is possible is a Delica or an Ambitious sized Par...
