Re: Webfoot Video?

The original video we made didn't come out very well. An argument between me and the video-grapher on how it should be done.

I don't know our current status on a video for the Golden Stone and Web-foot. I'll check it out.

Re: spot neck knife, salsa, clip it's

The S.P.O.T. ( S elf P rotection O ption T ool) was the first iteration of what eventually became the finished "Swick". As I remember, there were about 22 versions before I was satisfied to make the "Swick" production model. the basis of the tool was the "Finger Ring", ...

Re: A new spin on "HIC dropping soon"

Hey Jason, There are a lot of really interesting folks here. Most have their own "weird" and their own "baggage". Me included. We've all agreed to be respectful, honest, fair and proper. Most are pretty humble, despite their exceptional abilities. You might just find a "home...

Re: A new spin on "HIC dropping soon"

Hi Jason, Do you intentionally try to be offensive? Or are you one of those that honestly can't help it? I don't know what people you think we are losing? Our Opfocus program is a favor we do for those Patriotic Americans serving the rest of us. The Mule Team project is a favor we do for those knife...

Re: A new spin on "HIC dropping soon"

All this chatter about what Spyderco might do or not do is just speculation. We made the Mule as a Mule. We re getting ready to release the rest of them. After that, we have no idea what we might do with the material. A lot depends on your opinions and tests. As far as our production goes, we're try...

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?

I'm still hoping the Sage6 will be a button lock or CBBL, as long as it doesn't require expanding the body of the knife like the Sage3. In the meantime I'll continue to lobby for a Sage2 reboot like the Sage1 got :) Hi Abbazaba, You keep on nagging. I'll keep on watching. If we did another run, we'...

Re: H1 Fixed blades

Hi Al,

I've always said that the Jumpmaster 2 would be an ideal model to have in the "bug-out-bag", along with a Golden stone.

I wouldn't mind an Ed Schempp serrated Rock Salt. Perhaps Shawn's new design of "sal's sword" would be even better in a serrated H2?

Re: Endela (-sized "middle ground" knife) in the "Pac Salt family"?!

Hi Cabfrank, It can be done with liners, as shown by the Caribbean model. I'm testing Salt model with liners right now. But it is much easier to create, and build it without liners. I designed the Endela to be part of the Endura family, so I designed it with liners. When I designed the Stetch 2 XL, ...

Re: Serrated Edge for Hunting?

Hi Kels, It will certainly be an interesting discussion, but your experience in the "Real-World-Testing" will also yield much information. I have been told by many hunters that used serrated edges in game prep, that it worked well. I have also been told that it doesn't. FYI, the design is ...
