Paul, Tommi. Making them is not a problem. They are sold in the Japanese market, but their atitude towards serrations is not that great. We frankly have had very little call for plain edge Ladybugs. It also means 3 more SKUs to inventory.

Chris, Joel. There will be another run of blue Delicas. That was the model that went to the top of Mount Everest with the Swedish climbing team. We'll be re-introducing the model again in the near future.

Clay. You are a trouble maker! Just kidding. the blades for the cento Jr. are alrady cut in ATS-34, but a G10/shell inlay is possible, even in a small quantity.

Let's see how many are acutally interested.

The base of the clip on the FRN model has a small shelf that your pinky rests on when opening the knife one handed. More difficult to do with the clip removed.

Hi WTF? Welcome to the Spyderco forum. You have an interesting point of view, and I'm sure valid in some respects. However it would be a most difficult if not an impossible task to determine the "best" answer with the "most" insight. Perhaps a good answer is one we already know, ...

Stellite, thanx for the research. My chase got lost in the shuffle. Those are the guys that made all of our pins. If they believed there was a market, I would guess they would make more. We've given them permission to sell all of the models they've made for us.

Hi Joel. Actually your memory is good. There were two reasons for the tip up choice. 1) as you mentioned, we knew that the lower price would make the knife more popular. Our concern was having a bunch of kids doing quick draw drop openings, either in public (giving perhaps a less than desirable imag...

Hi Clay. We decided yesterday in a SKU mtg that it will be a plain edge. Primarily because the original model 20 years ago was a plain edge. (Well, maybe the forum Spyderco nuts has something to do with it)

The only real drawbacks we could determine in testing with 440C; 1) The large amount of chrome (16-18%) is great for corrosion resistance and the large amount of carbon (1.0%+)is great for hardness and toughness. But... the result ends up producing large secondary carbides that can break out of a ve...
