Re: PM1 question

Big help, Paladin! Thanks! I followed other threads that also gave me added info. Seems like the latest PM1 that I just bought (with the dino jimping on thumb ramp and no choil jimping) is one of the earlier versions. Thanks again!

PM1 question

I recently picked up two Paramilitary 1 (which I prefer to the PM2). But there are some differences between the two, leading me to ask if there were slight changes made throughout the PM1's production run. The main differences are: 1) One has jimping on the choil, the other doesn't; 2) Both have thu...

Wanted: A black blade lockback in about 2.5" to 3"

Would anyone else like to see Spyderco make a Delica ffg size or Caly 3 size lockback in a black ffg plain edge blade? The Delica 4 combo edge is nice, but I'd like a plain edge as well.

Re: Mule Team: S35VN or S110V?

How do you like your 52100?^^^ Is it a user, or a safe queen? That was another consideration (yes, I know it's not stainless).

Mule Team: S35VN or S110V?

Need your input. Regarding the Mule Team knives, do you prefer S35VN or S110V, and why? Thanks!

Re: Quick questions re: the Endura 3

Thanks for the replies. The only Endura 3s I've seen for sale lately have all been in ATS-55, and none in ffg, so it got me to wondering. I knew I could find the answer here.

Quick questions re: the Endura 3

I apologize for what could be viewed by many of you as basic knowledge, but I can't find this info elsewhere: 1) Was the Endura 3 ever made in a steel other than ATS-55? 2) Was it ever made in an ffg grind, or in just the saber grind (re: the plain edge)? Thanks! (I own several Endura 4s, but recent...

Quick question on the Caly3 in VG-10 and G-10

A little late, since it's now out of production, but I've fallen in love with the Caly3 in VG-10 with the G-10 scales, even though I've never owned one. What years was this knife in production? I can't find that info anywhere (although I openly confess I'm a techno idiot; finding info on the net is ...

Great advice, all! Thanks! I meant to give you this update sooner. The seller emailed me within 10 hrs of my email to him, and said the last time this happened to him he told the buyer to keep the knife and offered him a full refund. He's offering the same to me. I tend to give people the benefit of...

Got burned with fake PM2

Should've known better than to buy on eBay. First time I've been burned. In comparing with my other two PM2s, several details convince me the recent "NIB" Paramilitary 2 I bought is a fake. A good fake, but a fake nonetheless. Even the "Spyderco" box that it came in is not right ...

Thanks for the detailed info and pics, GoodEyeSniper. Really appreciate it! Good thoughts! MatthewSB, I appreciated your comments as well. You're correct in saying that if I tried the repair myself (or better yet, had my son do it...it's his knife, and he broke it!) it would be a great DIY project a...

Broken tip on Military. Need regrinding advice...

My son came home from a fishing trip with about 2mm missing from the tip of his Military. Any tips on grinding a new point? Seems like it wouldn't be a complex task, but I thought I'd ask, since I've never done this before. Thanks!
