Thanks. I already have a sage 1 and many dragonflies. The cat can be had for great prices though and I plan on having custom wood scales made for the cat. Figured it could be a fun project knife

Now makes 6-7 popular dealers that said they do not have jimped cats. Most are under impression the jimping only exists on CF models. I am jimping or bust!!

GP Knives: I purchased, at two different times, one with and one without jimping. Each time I called in my order and specified what I wanted (including an inspection of fit and finish). Both times I received exactly what I asked for. Thanks. I have an email in to them. Whichever dealer has a jimped...

The original CF run had jimping. When they released the black G10 model, it did not have jimping. If I am not mistaken, Spyderco recently modified the current Cat model and added jimping on both the spine and finger choil. I am in the market for a G10 version, and would prefer it with jimping if it ...

I want to get a dragonfly g10 and swap the blades out, or have someone make wood scales for the SB dfly. Any recommendations on who makes wood handles for dragonflies?

Thanks guys for letting me talk this through. Jester will remain near top of list but will hold off on this price point for now. Probably scoop a lava sooner than later. My brother has a g10 dragonfly so I can compare them both.

I love the look of the jester. But I paid around $80 for a G10 manbug. $120 shipped on the jester is mighty tough to get to. That is only thing holding me back. I contacted the dealer and said if they went down to MSRP, I'd take it. MSRP is $99. They denied it. If I spent $120 on the little jester, ...

This wouldn't be a "keychain" knife. I am in courthouses fairly often so have to watch what is on my keys.

Now I am debating between the dragonfly 2 g10 and the lava. The dfly is lighter, shorter closed, and longer blade. But I just find the lava strangely sexy. And sprints are fun. And ya.

Yep, but I only see one dealer with them and all of their prices are high. If the price wasn't so high and more inline w manbug g10, I wouldn't have made this thread bc I would've already bought it!! Lol
