Re: Lefty Para2 and suspicious box
I intended to buy one when they first released the lefty in S30V. Thought it was a sprint of S45VN but saw several of the well-known sites listing the right-handed versions with 45, no mention of the sprint. Think it would've been the first lefty sprint I ever saw if that was the case. Truthfully I ...

Re: Lefty Para2 and suspicious box
I spent a LOT of time looking it over. The knife feels great. Even has the familiar laser start/stop points on the liners I remember from my old ones. Grind is perfect on the blade. Thanks for commenting, it's been a long time since I had a Para2 in my hands. Last one I can remember was the laminate...

Lefty Para2 and suspicious box
Received this after purchasing an advertised S45VN lefty Para2 on Amazon. Disappointing to see New Graham, my preferred dealer, out of stock on them for so long. I haven't gotten a new Spyderco since the blue Lil Matriarch, but was suspicious of the apparent changes to the box, and a couple of notes...

Re: BHQ Paramilitary 2 CPM M4 Exclusive.
Landed 3 (had to hedge my bets in case one was off center, and one for a pre-need replacement). They actually took longer than I thought to sell out. Two hours after they went live I still saw some in stock.

Re: Unabridged Unapologetic Case for the Para Military 2 Left Hand *
I requested by email info on the possibility of pulling some Cruwear Military blades off of the line before grinding right-hand lock faces on the tangs, but no response. I was hoping to send a lefty Military in to get a replacement Cruwear blade fitted. Didn't get a response, but I'm sure it would h...

Coke for mixing, Pepsi for drinking. 154CM for cutting, VG10 for cutting.

Re: Unabridged Unapologetic Case for the Para Military 2 Left Hand *
I think CTS-XHP in a black canvas or linen Micarta would be a tasteful combination. Edit: To be honest, I'd buy any mix of steel and handle. Even if it were the tried and true black G10/S30V combo again. Why not S35VN? Personal preference. Any number of steels in this category would be suitable. S3...

Re: Unabridged Unapologetic Case for the Para Military 2 Left Hand *
First time seeing this thread, and I am highly impressed with the way things are turning out. Great job Sully for arguing the case, and a huge thanks to all in Golden who have taken the time to consider this plea for a knife that caters to such a small but dedicated population. As a fellow lefty, I'...

I think I'll carry mine tomorrow thanks to this thread's inspiration. When I hold it I imagine it to be a nice sized rock that's been tumbled for near eternity in a river or shore. Feels so smooth and solid!

One brown rod has a mean curve. I compensate by not being able to hold the knife perfectly on every stroke :D

At the desk mostly because it's where I spend quite a bit of time. Have taken out and fondled on ing drives, but always fear for the condition of my leather. I think the time in which I play with the most knives in the shortest period of time is in the morning when I'm filling my pockets up to start...

Re: Impulse buy/Semi grail
Can't see the blade steel but I'm assuming from the above post it's S30V. Good find! I've been considering taking my 440V full SE and putting it into service, but for now it lives in its box.

Re: Variety in the collection (pics/thoughts)
For folders i have a hard time going away from spyderco, I have tried a mini grip and thought the ergos were awful, i tried an umnumzaan and sold it cause it couldn't hold an edge long enough to break down a box, and ive treid ZT but they felt over built and way to heavy. The reason i sold all the ...

Re: Variety in the collection (pics/thoughts)
I was lucky to have found the Nilte for little more than the Ritter M390, but after having it for a few weeks I decided it was in my best interests to part ways. Shipped it out this morning to a good home. The two-handed opening really inconvenienced me when I went to play with it at my desk :)
