would it be safe to say the native 5 regular size would be much more difficult to flick open because of its size? Yes they are, I imagine it shares the same tang geometry as the chief, but with a smaller blade so less inertia to overcome it, it can be done but I find its just as satisfying to thumb...

I have those for my grapefruit. They suck and aren't doing anything to fibrous Mango flesh. I still believe Spyderco can do better. :)

Maybe they just need a touch up on the sharpmaker?

They aren’t exclusively plastic

Sorry to break it to you but not a new idea and they are readily available, I used to get plastic ones with packs of kiwi. Not sure why you’d want a spoon with a hole in it anyway.

I tried for an hour at start, (3am) was able to log in 5min before but couldn’t even load the site after that. Went back to bed, seems to be working now but lot sold out.
Server performance left lot to be desired but still appreciate the chance to participate.

Do these use the same clip as the native 5 lw?

ETA- the hole spacing looks the same but clip looks specific to the little temp and the handle divot

Seems minor, and would almost certainly be considered within spec. As long as they meet at the bottom/edge side and the depth/grind is even, wouldn’t worry about it.
