Re: Annual Top 10 List: 2020
I made the list and see things have not substantially changed since 2012. In no particular order for this year: 2020 1. Caly 3 2. Slysz Bowie 3. Southard 4. Dragonfly Salt SE 5. Jess Horn 6. Kopa (particularly the Gold MOP one) 7. Delica (VG10) 8. Techno 1 9. PITS 10. SS Lava Honorable Mention, the ...

H1 Serrated, with lanyard. Carry loose in front pocket in shorts or side pocket pants. I carry it clipped with jeans or other top type pockets. My MOST carried knife by far.

ceese,
Thank you for that very well written, and very good story.
I too have lost a knife with sentimental value. It too thankfully found me again. I can empathize and relate.
I am happy for you and appreciate you sharing!

Re: Does dirt cause rust?
Rust is the oxidation of iron. The oxidation is the chemical reaction between oxygen and the iron molecules in the steel. It is accelerated by the presence of water (or water vapor). Soil and dirt act like a sponge and can retain the moisture (water), which can accelerate the rust. So does dirt caus...

Dyad Salt, FRN, light weight. The ultimate tackle box knife.
I’ve been lobbying for a Dyad Salt for a decade. I’d settle LC 200N over H1 :)

Re: Annual Top 10 List: 2018
I started working on this post and Holland beat me to it by minutes. I'll attempt to freeze mine and we should stick with Holland's I began my 2018 list without reference to my previous lists. Then I saw I left out the PITS, and had to keep it in there, so I had to drop the Des Horn, which made me c...

Congratulations! Wish you and your family the best!!!
I’d bring the Chaparral because it is the smallest and be the least likely to be noticed while in wedding clothes.

Re: Lanyard Users Poll
I use fobs on small knives to effectively extend the grip, as well as help in one hand opening. I think all knives should have a lanyard hole, if this is what you're getting at. +1 I agree with this! My most carried knives of the Dragonfly or smaller variety all have fobs. Nothing larger than my De...

Short PITS anecdote
I love my wife, bless her heart. She puts up with my knife addiction. She routinely asks for a knife, knowing I’ll hand her one with a smile on my face. But if I’m not around she’ll grab whatever is on my dresser. She’s learned compression locks, back locks, Reeve integral locks, liner locks, and ev...

Less potential for car scratches, less of a hot spot creator, and deeper carry, all lead me to prefer the wire clip ... by a very large margin!

A Kopa, if you can find one, is my strongest recommendation. Despite the Kopa rec, a Bradley Air is my most carried in a suit.
