I have to second what Deacon says. The Schemp Persian is truly a thing of beauty and the Kiwi is a close second. I'd also have to give an honorable mention to the Jess Horn.

Just got mine. Chad is to be commended for a very interesting and useful design. I carried it today, opened some boxes etc. Very nice feel in the hand and sheeple friendly too. (Little do they know.)

Chad, Thank you very much!

All the same, This is one great knife. I just ordered a backup in case the EDC gets lost. I have to admit that the ZDP Horn has become my constant companion since I got it. A gentleman's knife that just cuts and cuts..

mm1,

I'm with you. It is a tremendous tool. I also have other sharpeners, but I cannot remember the last time I pulled one of them out. The Sharpmaker is is quick and sure puts a fine edge.

Django, "How smooth does your knife open? I ask this because my pivot came stripped and I don't know if it will get smoother after I loosen the pivot. I won't both sending it in to Spyderco if it won't get much smoother. For instance, my Chinook II opens MUCH smoother than my Ocelot." Mine...

A Pool?!?

Shall we all start a pool on when Kristi lets loose with the hot scoop? What do you say Kristi? One of the objects in question to the closest guess without going past? Come on, where's your spirit of fairness for all the insanity you've caused us? I'm in for 12:00 noon Tuesday 4/4. Chris :) :) :)

Taz Kristi My Dear,

I think the sleepless nights with the new one are inducing an unnatural sadistic desire on your part to drive all of us into a similar state of insomnia while we tear our hairs out trying to figure this out.

Please! Have MERCY on the Knife Knuts!

Just got my Ocelot today. I LOVE THIS KNIFE! I see what everyone's saying about the tracks, but I kind of like them. I think I'll live with them for a while and see how dirty they get or not. STR, My wife liked mine a lot too, but she knows better than to abscond with one of my treasures. Chris :) :...

This knife, as it is now, is my EDC. I love both the thickness abd the wire clip. Make a new version if you must but I'll just buy another III, just in case don't you know. This is my favorite precisely because of its thickness. My large hands and the ergos of it now are a perfect match. Chris :spyd...
