Re: The Waterway Will Be Mine...

Blades like these make me wish even more that I could be spending my time on/in sweet/salt water like it's designer! Very cool blade, probably won't get it since I wouldn't have use for it but definitely makes me wish I did! ;) Never mind being on land, I'm gonna get this one! Looked like a very co...

Re: Invitation to the 14th Amsterdam Spyderco meet 2018

Great meet again! Big thanks to the Spyderco crew!
Nice new set up as well, worked well. Spend quite some time writing cards but must be must be much more usefull than trying to remember all the feedback you get from all those people so good idea.

Re: Ankerson/Sanders Bowie Photos

Had it in hand yesterday at the meet, very nice. Like the idea about the screwed on handle scales even more now since I felt that I might end up regrinding the butt end a bit and like this I might even make my own custom scales for it, cool option to have! :)

Re: New Chaparral (FRN)

My apologies. :o Thanx for the clarification. I like to know with whom I'm communicating. sal I think I've been to the last 2-3 meets you were at, last time we spend some time talking about my beat Pacific Salt that I had had used hard & abused in N-Portugal for 5 weeks non-stop a couple of mon...

Re: New Chaparral (FRN)

Haha, I'm sure I'll run into Eric again. Enjoy home, I love to travel but I mainly enjoy staying somewhere for a longer time and/or slow travel. Trips like this I would hardly keep up with and I'm only 42. Btw, I'm the other Joris, we have also met at the meet a few times before. Joris from the Old ...

Re: New Chaparral (FRN)

Hey Joris, What do you think is a "weird fancy version"? Are you going to the meet? sal Haha, for starters yes I'll be at the meet but is this a casual bombshell about you being there too?! :D With weird fancy version I meant the Raffir version because it is a fair bit fancier than the FR...

Re: Spyderco’s Polestar & Alcyone should not be in the “VALUE LINEUP”

Love the look of that reground Polestar Lance!
I prefer this look but for functionality the leaf blades work great for me so I'll probably keep mine as is.

Re: New Chaparral (FRN)

Also got the FRN Chaparral because it always seemed like a nice knife for urban use and once it came out in FRN, which is my favorite Spyderco handle material, I had to get one. Has hardly been out of my pocket, apart from use, since although I sometimes do carry a bigger blade as 2nd. Came across t...

Re: Spyderco’s Polestar & Alcyone should not be in the “VALUE LINEUP”

Was something that I noticed when I got my Alcyone that it's not quite as sexy as the Polestar but definitely still a sexy design.
Guess I'm not the only weirdo who thinks of a good design as sexy.. :D

Re: Sprint Calypso Jr ETA?

Thats nice to hear. I havent owned anything smaller than the manix 2 LW so really wanting to try this guy out. I was wanting to try a native out but I like the look of this guy better. This one is a great Urban carry or great as a 2nd smaller blade since it is very thin and lightweight, the Native ...

Re: Sprint Calypso Jr ETA?

No idea when it will drop but it is very cool. Great edc with very cool FRN. I was planning on getting 2 for dec and a backup but since I got my Chaparral LW I probably wouldn't carry this anymore.. ;) Might still get one because it's so good looking but trying to cut on the non-users and I've alrea...

Re: Endura Wharncliffe

We addressed your concerns regarding the Endura 3 vs Endura 4 handles, a 2nd time, and decided that, in our opinion the "4" handle is more ergonomic for a majority of our customers. Sorry, but some of you may have to adapt? sal I definitely believe that to most people the Endura (or Delic...

Re: So, I'm giving the Stretch another try

I think the Stretch is amongst those that when you have one, you really don’t any other folder, which isn’t ideal for most of us! Definitely my most used knife at this size and one of the closest to perfect. :) If I would go for a big trip again and would have to chose 1 folder to bring, it would b...
