I'm sure the Lil Native is a nice knife, but the Dragonfly is legendary. Everyone should at least try one.
RustyIron, the Chaparral is a back lock.

Re: Seki City back lock quality in 2022?

I recently purchased a new Pacific Salt H2 SE. It's perfect. Lock up, centering, edge, all perfect. I'm still confident in back lock Seki Spydies.

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!

Well, sadly, zhyla is right about the clip. It grabs and bunches at your pocket, because the clip should be longer, and the pivot is way too tight to even slow roll. The pivot is an easier fix, and the clip could be bent and it might help, but I'm not sure if I should. The blade and ergos are incred...

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!

I always bend my clips out a little, so I hope that will suffice. I won't be sanding, using epoxy or buying a clip for my new knife though.

Again, not trying to doubt you, but I sure hope the one I get is better. I doubt I'll keep it if it has the issues yours has.

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!

That's what I was thinking too, from looking at the pictures. I don't want to doubt anyone who actually has the knife in hand, but it would be surprising for Spyderco to goof that up. I have one on the way, so I'll find out soon.

Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!

I wonder if there is a longer clip from another model that would work.

Yes to Endela Salt. Can a Salt with liners be done now to save tooling costs? Maybe it would make the knife too expensive.

Sharpen your knife, go out and cut stuff, be happy.

Thanks! It's my day off. I'm taking this advice.

Unfortunately, some of the SE Ayoobs were more like wavy PE. I know mine was. Otherwise, yeah, they would have been great.

Re: Lil' Temp 3 & Short Thick Blades

Many above have touched on the positives of this knife. There is also an excellent review of it here on the forum, by zuludelta. It is titled a comprehensive review, and it is. You should read it. It may push you over the edge. It certainly helped convince me. I will say that the thickness, weight a...

Generous giveaway of a GB1, someone is lucky.
As far as VG-10, I love it, still and always. It is plenty hard, stainless, and does everything well, even better in SE.
