I'm of the mind that Spyderco Salts are in a league of their own.

Re: Electric Pressure Washer
A buddy has an electric one. They don't blast like the gas ones, but for many things, they are very good. Have fun with yours!

I didn't know that much about him, but hearing people talk so lovingly about him, from rivals to analysts, made my eyes water. He must have been a great human.

Re: Dragonfly Salt Hawkbill
I've been considering a Dfly Hawbill for a while too. It would be a great tweener. I'm surprised to hear Magnacut SE holds up longer for you than H1 SE. I don't know if things have changed, but H1 SE has been known to cut longer than most, or any.

The tributes to him I've heard today make it obvious that was a very loved and special person.

Re: Dragonfly Salt Hawkbill
I have a Ladybug Salt Hawkbill and a Tasman Salt. I had a Spyderhawk that I shouldn't have sold. All three H1 serrated. I know everyone wants the latest steels, but I don't see how these knives could be better in this configuration with any other steel.

Really stupid, and I hope you can get your knife. I know nothing about the appeals process though. I was going to mention having the pivot tightened in the future also. If you don't have anything to lose by appealing, go for it. Good luck.

Re: Best spyderco sharpener for serrated knives
You're right, most all the info here involves the Sharpmaker, but I'd imagine it applies to the others as well. Start with the sticky thread titled something like "SE performance is more than just teeth", or something close to that. sal said something about a difference in opinion on the w...

Re: The Magnacut Paramilitary 2
I would think the shallow carry MXG clip from the other thread would work. I wouldn't be thrilled with paying that much for a clip for a new knife though. I know many do it, but I've used stock clips so far.

Re: Best spyderco sharpener for serrated knives
Hmm, they began with sharpeners, but are likely now more commonly associated with knives. The dvd does have a section dedicated to serrations. There is a lot more information on sharpening SE here though, if you want to do down that rabbit hole.

I love PM2's, and I'm sure I'd also love your great new black one. I don't love the pocket clip misses. My jeans get shredded enough already.
