I work at a local B&M store and it is very tough. Prices in store are quite high. Even with a good discount from the company, I am paying more buying from my own store than if I got it online and paid shipping. The only reason why I buy from my own store is if I do not want to wait for the item....

Hmm mine would be the original military with the diamond engraving. Someone borught one into the store I worked in for a sharpening and I just fell in love. I ordered one right away but low and behold, they had changed to the laser etching. Another one I would love to have would be the hand made wal...

I have had several knives before and they have been perfect except for two which I bought back to back. The para-military had a very tight lock and I am talking tight. I had to use alot more preassure than you would expect to close that thing. I have also had problems with a manix that seems to unsc...

A vote for the Goddard. It was my first spyderco and one of my all time favourite knives. Before the Goddard, I thought spyderco's were ugly. The goddard changed all that for good.

Well it is like a swissarmy knife. No lock means u just have to use the knife for the right purposes and be aware of the limitations imposed by non -locking blades.

Looks like a good knife. Wouldnt mind getting a small little knife with g10.

Nice website spydie crew. Very easy to navigate.

Not that she supports spyderco but doesnt Angelina Jolie collect knives? I maybe off my rocker but that is what I heard. I am sure she has one she would have at least one spydie in that collection if she does collect.

Instead of using the philips, flats heads or even torz/allen screw heads, why not square/ robertson screw heads? Aren't they harder to torque?

Maybe the listed weight is a typo. There is precedent for this, just check out the ATR listed at 10 ounces when it is about 4.5?

I would not advise it. I took apart my chinook and the lock was never the same. Also, the teflon washers that are in the knife take some time to align properly. You might not be able align it porperly so i would say don't risk it

I messed up my chinook by taking it apart. The backlock spring had slipped out but I failed to notice. When I put it back together, it hung very loose when it was closed. I sent it in to spyderco with a note of my stupdity and they took pity on me and replaced it free of charge. Not only did they re...
