Imagine that : A new generation Para3 with a shorter handle(a better blade/handle ratio) in 3D ( like lil'temp ) and different screws.Let's talk about the blade: a high hollow grind( a la Bradley ) with a stronger tip.

sage4 users

Are there any Sage4 users out there ? I am contemplating in buying one but I'd wish to really carry and use it.I like the looks of it but I am a little concerned. Some say it's too heavy for EDC, some say the Ti bolsters scratch too easy, the back lock is too stif , .... Police SS spyderedge. For me it embodies SPYDERCO.I carry or use it just once or twice a year but it's still my beloved.I have seven and keep coming.
I have a dream: Police with the same blade shape as the SS classic model(I dislike Police3) and aluminum handle(maybe anodized).

I had been afraid that I might find the lock up of the FRN UKPK too weak after reading that the FRN models had a weaker spring than the G10 models. I didn't know that the more recent FRN models also have a stronger spring. Anyway, now that I've received my new for 2013 FRN FFG UKPK (together with a...

You only need 0.5% carbon to achieve 60 HRC, at 0.6% carbon the steel will be 64/65 HRC, anything above that in regards to carbon % is simply for the addition of carbides. The maximum level of durability at the edge is going to come from : -less than 0.6% carbon dissolved in martensite (to prevent ...

The only two that are grippy are the 1 and 3. My 2 has no blade play (and most don't) but a small amount is possible with any folder. Given your needs is there any reason you haven't looked at a Para2 or Manix2? They aren't much heavier and vastly superior for the goals. I have a Para2.Love it but ...
