Re: Calypso Jr Sprint Run Considerations
I personally don’t want ANY changes made to it. Keep the Caly Jr the Caly Jr. Totally agree ! The Calypso jr. is perfect as it is. I like everything about it but I wouldn’t mind an adjustable pivot. That’s all. OK, to play Devil’s advocate here, the ultimate CQI version of the Calypso Jr. hopefully...

Re: Calypso Jr Sprint Run Considerations
OK, to play Devil’s advocate here, the ultimate CQI version of the Calypso Jr. hopefully exists as the up and coming FRN Caly, which comes complete with all these requested updates. Don’t fix what isn’t really broke… Yep, you would think that they should enjoy the upcoming “improved” Caly3 and leav...

Re: Calypso Jr Sprint Run Considerations
I personally don’t want ANY changes made to it. Keep the sharpening notch, no jimping or any other thing that would make it a cousin vs a sibling to all the others. Absolutely; the effort made to resurrect this particular Calypso family member should be purely done. Subsequent Calypso/Caly family m...

Re: Calypso Jr Sprint Run Considerations
This is great news for me. I love the Calypso jr. even more than the Caly3. I voted SPY27 but I wouldn't mind one in LC or Cruwear.

Screw or pinned just bring it back ASAP. This one could quench my thirst for my dream lw medium edc ; the XL Dfly. I only pray for a stainless steel.

Re: So, Sal, is the Caly3 model extinct ?!
My plan is to try to revive the Caly Family with a Caly 2.5", 3.0", 3.5", 4.0" and pendants. The maker is small and slower so it will be a while. Probably Carbon Fiber, though I'm open to suggestions. sal Sal, does this mean the 3.5 LW isn’t at the top of the list anymore? I rec...

Re: Shot Show recap, thoughts, things I learned
The liner lock is my fav lock in general and Spyderco made liner locks are the best in the industry. No brainer construction, easy and intuitive to manipulate and strong enough for the average and right in the head user. Some models almost require a liner lock and yet they sport a comp lock. Kapara ...

Re: Sneaky Sneaky Shot Show Reveals
Well, in the "non corrosion arena" one could also see it the other way round and feel like it is a "missed opportunity" that ONLY the Sekie models come in H1/H2 and that only SOME Golden Salt models come in LC200N.. Though I am sure Magnacut is great stuff, it is not clear to me...

That finger choil is larger than it needs to be and detrimental to the cutting edge lenght. Other than that I like the Brower quite alot.
