I'll admit to being one of the anal people when it comes to minor flaws. They are to be expected in a cheap knife but I think people kinda expect better when you're shelling out 100$ or more and sweat the details. That being said im learning to accept minor blade play and minor aesthetic flaws as lo...

Makes sense. I've had people telling me to tighten the lock bar screw as tight as possible to remove blade play and that was probably not a good idea. Thanks for the insight.

Need suggestions for my next spydie

So far I have an Endura 4 FFG FRN, Stretch 2 FRN and a used Centofante 3 a good buddy of mine just gave me. Looking for something under 100 dollars that all you wonderful, experienced spydie collecters would recommend.

Stretch 2 is the by far the best slicing/cutting knife I've ever owned. Centofante 3 also seemed like an awesome slicer when i had one on loan for a week.

I have a few suggestions: 3. If your lock bar's pivot screw is too tight, the detent action will feel weak. You might like to loosen that a bit. Haha that worked like a charm. Not sure what detent action means but loosening the lock bar screw allowed me to tighten up the pivot screw a bit more and ...

Stretch amazing knife but...

I love everything about the Strech except one thing. It has some serious side to side play that i cant seem to get rid of. Tried tightening the pivot screw but it only removed the blade play when i tightened it to the point where i could barely open the knife with one hand. Tried tightening the othe...

Are FFG blades noticeably weaker than a saber grind blade? I have the FFG version of the Endura 4 and i would prefer a saber grind if it means i can use it for tougher tasks and not worry about the blade breaking.
