You are right!

I couldn't get a picture, but in Episode 7 of the newest season of Leverage there is a close up of a Byrd Flight just before the 24 minute mark. It is a knife with the logo of some drug cartel on it that was dropped by one of the gang members. You are right about that! I checked it but did not watc...

Thanks for pointing this out: Watching a rerun of NCIS (season 1 episode 18 "UnSEALed") today, I glimpsed McGee cut a tied-up Kate free with a Delica SE. I did a quick search and don't think this episode has been mentioned. I found the scene but I am not sure if it's a Delica from the size...

SolidState I also have the Fenix LD10 but with the Q5 led. Nevertheless in this price range the Ld10 is in my opinion the best light. Battery life is very good for what it does, runs on only one AA battery or re-chargeable, compact with a good pocket clip which can be taken off if not needed, super ...

Maybe a production line of the best selling midsize success models like the Delica, Sage, Caly 3 with the UK-non locking-style option parallel to the regular line. Where the design/functionality allows it to be the same as the original model!

I wonder how you get these knives home legally after you purchase them? TedP My question concerned more the EDC issue of what is and what not allowed to carry... but you're making a point here! I remember the general Rule in Germany years ago while I used to live there. That you can &quo...

Hallo Neomik, Balisongs, fistdagger and switchblades with blades longer than 8,5cm are forbidden, illegal. If you want to carry a onehand opening knife, a fixed one with a blade longer than 12cm or daggergrind you need a legal reason such as sport, work or traditional activities. Twohand opening kn...

How's the German knife law in real life?

Hello everyone, I am about to move to Germany and I do know about the current knife restriction law. I read it online but I can't figure out exactly what it means in some terms! Maybe some of you who live there know it better? I know that no folding knifes with any sort of locking mechanism are allo...

Action causes reaction!

I like your article Doc and I totally agree with your view on the subject! If a group or any number of individuals is about to attack you... you have no other choice than to be brutal and vicious in your initial/counter attack! Those people have fun beating the living **** of another person or kill ...

I would have asked for the stitches so I could have a big ole scar, remember "chicks dig scars" :) Menace I highly doubt that this would work :) ! You know a "Chick" will dig a scar you earned on a battlefield or earned it with glory! I don't think that she'll dig the scar you g...

Yes, it gives you that one minute to go get the bandaids. This blade seems to even have tissue on it. This thread does make me want a Tasman. Don't know why but it does. There was some tissue on the blade ;) ! Glad to hear that the thread inspired you to get the Tasman! It is an awesome little knif...

OUCH! From only little experience I know that if your blade actually has blood on it... It's bad. Usually it just cuts and starts to bleed after the knife is already away. If you're serious about SD training either make a Tasman trainer from wood (fixed variety, I know you have the skills) or buy a...

Thank you all for your wishes and responses! Believe it or not the actual cut happened not while I was practicing "my technique" but a few seconds later while I was holding my Tasman and I got distracted! The idea of me using a "live" blade in my training WAS to really get a feel...

My first "spyder-bite" ""Very Graphic!!!!""
