Don't forget the Mouse! It's become one of my favorite little Spydies lately.

That VG is good stuff, I've been carrying it around my neck in a Mousetrap for a month now, still no little rust spots <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

We are officially "Spyderco-Deprived"

I miss IDB!!!!

Maybe it's time to renew this seemingly recurring relationship with BenchMade. It could, perhaps, even take the form of a "legally made in the USA" version of the Spyder-Bali! Excuse me while I drool on myself for awhile.... The new 42 seems to be a hot seller, but a Spyder-Bali, Mmmm Mmmm...

I just got a new Mouse, and I've got an older Cricket with Aluminum scales. The Mouse feels like a lot more knife than the Cricket does when it's in your hand, but it IS bigger and heavier so... Both blade shapes are useful to me (both cutting edges are about the same overall length), but the Mouse ...

Nope, they were sold separately. $77 for Mouse, $23 for trap from BladeArt.com. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> This is my first such neck-sheath, and it's a HARD thermo-plastic. I hadn't really realized how loud the material+chain+rivets were actually going to be, bu...

Don't forget about the G-10 Rookie. It's Tip Up too, and discontinued! Sounds like what your looking for, better run out and get one quick. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> I've got one of the older liner-less ones, and it's a really nice piece.

M-O-U-S-E!!!

Got a Wegner Mouse in the mail today, WOW! It's built like a BULLDOZER! It's build, aside from the back-lock is just like the Toad, with the same scale thickness. It came along with a Mouse-Trap neck sheath, I'm REALLY HAPPY with both of them, as if you couldn't already tell. <img src="smile.gi...

You know, lately I find that I've been carrying my smaller Spydies the most, and I keep going back to a plain edged SS Co-Pilot more often then the rest. For some reason, I've REALLY come to like that piece. I have a Mouse + Mouse Trap coming in the mail right now, and I have a feeling it's going to...

I was just looking at everyone elses wish lists, I guess I'm still a child at heart! I still like to have LOTS of shiny new TOYS to play with on Xmas morning. Maybe I should start sending out some of my special "Hawaiian Style" (XXX-tra large) Christmas stockings, guaranteed to hold MANY c...

I've got a plain-edged 440V Military, and it's a GREAT knife, but it's a little on the big side for me for every day carry. I'm kinda scared to whip that big sucker out around others! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

The Blade was described as being just bit longer than 3 inches. If I remember correctly, the design of the knife required that extra fraction of an inch in blade length. I also seem to remember hints that a small test run might be made available through one of the Spyderco forums <img src="wink...

I think I remember reading somewhere on Bladeforums that a Mil jr model was already on it's way to "testing" with a ~3 blade. It was described as being a chopped down Military, not a downscaled version. I can't wait to see one <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Maybe Spyderco could inlay James' Chai/Life symbol into a forum knife, with the "Good Karma Cut" going to some worthy cause. I think that might be a really fitting remembrance to a good man.
