As a relatively new spyderco owner, I've noticed people in the various fora talking about breaking in folding knives. Just wondering if there was a set procedure that is recommended to get the knife broken in, or if that is just a euphamism for beating your knife up a little. So, what do you guys do...

So far the only thing that has stopped me from buying a Spyderco product is the fact that many of them are backordered from most retailers. Can't be waiting two years to satisfy my knife desires!
