Hey you guys, out there in Colorado

I am getting married in June (yep, I have purchased Dragonfly’s for each of my groomsmen) and some how the soon-to-be missus agreed to honeymoon in the Rockies- even though Hawaii was top on her list. Does Spyderco have a plant that gives tours or a factory store that we could browse- I am hopeful t...

Thanks for all the great responses! I must be lucky though... I failed to mention that my future wife has also taken a liking for knifes (spyderco especially, although not as much as I do) and is even considering placing this web site on our gift registry. To me there is some thing very sexy about a...

How do you become a Lifetime collector?

I would like to know how one becomes a lifetime collector of spyderco knifes? I guess we have all seen on EBAY the collections of past members being sold for mega bucks but I am not interested in buying past collections but starting a new one. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mine, like many others, was the police model. I bought it at a store to don't see too often here in the north-east: a family owned "true" sporting goods store that your father grew up with. My police was made before the name was stamped on the blade- could anyone tell about when it was made?

Marrage vs Spyderco collecting

PROBLEM--I am getting married soon and I currently grapple with the idea of curtailing my spyderco purchasing habit due my future wife’s desire to bite deeply into the American dream- large house, large car, large bank account! Could anyone share with me their way of making harmony with the missus w...

I found my Spur on ebay 4 months ago and seen a few on there since. It is a great little knife; not too small, just right. I try not to use it though... due to the fact that they are scarce. If they do start produceing them again you can sign me up for another.

Plain edge Worker

Does any one happen to know when Spyderco stoped making the plain edge version of this great knife? This is true classic Spyderco which I have always admired but now when I am ready to afford one I can only find the serraded edged one for sale. Has any one seen them for sale anywhere? Thanks
