Re: Victorinox going bladeless
I thought that Victorinox had already been making a "bladeless" model that was intended to circumvent anti-knife blade rules on planes. It was basically a Classic without the knife blade. As long as Victorinox also continues making their bladed models, I don't see it as such a problem to g...

Japanese Children Who Remember Their Past Lives (Mysterious Universe channel) *Video below* This is a very interesting discussion of cases of reincarnation. I've mentioned this in previous posts, but I know that past lives/reincarnation are very real. Because I've seen (and more importantly, FELT) i...

Re: Manbug doesn‘t safely lock anymore
First thing I would do is check the lock notch at the back of the base of the blade, where the end of the lock bar fits into when the blade is locked open. There’s a very good chance that pocket lint got in there and is preventing the lock bar from fully seating into the notch.

Something Unexplainable is Happening (What Lurks Beneath channel) Accounts of teleportation. I find this to be a fascinating subject. I've heard a few of these accounts before, especially the ones involving the Spanish nun who appeared in the American Southwest in the 1600s, and the Spanish soldier ...

Re: Cold Steel Talk
Many thanks for your excellent and very thorough review of your first impressions, Rick! It cements the idea that one day, if and when I ever get back into buying any more knives, the AD15 Lite will be on that list, if it's still being made by then! I have another question: How is that Mini Recon 1,...

Re: Generational Classifications: Do You Identify?
I'm back home living with my 84yr old mother, I'm 64 and we use delivery for most supermarket items. We order just 2x per month and as long as it is over $100 it is FREE DELIVERY, because we paid $60 for the year-long program. We do not have a car right now and taking an Uber for that purpose would...

Re: Generational Classifications: Do You Identify?
Thanks for the replies, everyone. I'm turning 61 tomorrow, which makes me a so-called "Boomer." But I don't really like people knowing my B-day. 🤫 I also take people as individuals and judge them by their behavior. However, the people I share the most in common with (obviously) tend to be ...

Generational Classifications: Do You Identify?
Which do you belong to, and do you feel that you fit the stereotypes? It seems to me that the birth years that are used to define each generation were arbitrarily chosen: The Greatest Generation: 1901 -1927 The Silent Generation: 1928 - 1945 Baby Boom Generation: 1946 - 1964 Generation X: 1965 - 198...

Re: Copy Cat compression lock.
One of the big considerations for me about a compression-style lock from another company would be: Have they put enough attention into the details that make the lock as good as it is? Meaning materials, tolerances, etc., etc., in the same way that Spyderco does. I'm not saying they can't; I'm simply...

Re: Social networks vs. forums - possible return of content to the forums?
It doesn't surprise me that there are more and more restrictions on what can be discussed on social media platforms like Facebook. I'm talking restrictions on basic interests, like knives, for example. A lot of content creators on YouTube are having to go to other platforms to freely discuss certain...

You'll want to drink plenty/lots of water, but not to the point of water intoxication.
